General low-light photography (not extreme low-light) is genuinely surprisingly good, for this segment

It takes fairly usable photos

For product photography, close-ups are strictly average with poor details, and a lot of weird sharpness, but that's expected

You can still take decent product photos

2. Cameras The primary camera (the only one) uses the Samsung JN1 (50MP 1/2.76") sensor, with f/1.6 aperture. It does not feature OIS. The front camera is an 8MP sensor. Overall, the images are serviceable for this price segment, but keep expectations in…
The filters aside, you have "Standard" mode which is a little dull and washed out, "Bright" makes the colours pop.

And the "Strong" mode adds slight warmth and boosts the contrast.

You can adjust the settings based on taste

3. Battery Life & Charging

The only issue here is that the settings app does not show SOT properly.

AccuBattery did not report it accurately. Kept over reporting or simply closing

So you'll have to rely on usage. 6-7h screen time average.

It takes ~1h to charge fully with the 45W mode, & it's good that you can select what charging speed you want. It lets you know when you plug it in.

The charger is a 45W charger, which is included in the box. Don't know if it's PD

4. Performance

easily the best-performing device in this segment

It is another highlight of this phone, powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7300 chipset.

6 GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 128 GB of UFS 2.2 storage, which is fine for the price.

BGMI: Supports only 60 FPS, but runs the game very smoothly for the price. The heat management is also controlled.

Genshin Impact: Runs the game fine at Low settings, but tends to struggle at Medium. Playable, but not great.

5. SOFTWARE

XOS 15, based on Android 15.

- Infinix promises 2 major OS updates and 3 years of security patches for the entire Note 50 series (including the 50X here)

6. Design, Feel, Build

Completely plastic. Matte finish. Not that heavy, no creaking sounds, and it looks fine too.

Feels light to hold, easy to operate.

7. Unboxing

The built-in case is prone to collecting dust, but it's good otherwise

Has the case, a charger, the phone, some paperwork, sim ejector. Pretty complete unboxing.

It's a 45W charger, again, don't know if it's PD

Box contains:
- The Phone
- A 45W Charger
- Type-A to Type-C charging cable
- A color-coordinated TPU Case
- A (very humble) Sim Ejector Tool
