Honestly, even if the GST rates were reduced, the end consumers will never notice any real benefit. The device won't have better features or lower prices, instead the advantage will mostly go to brands through higher profit margins.

But if the GST rate were to be increased, brands will not waste a single second to increase the prices of their products (remember 2020 when GST was increased from 12% to 18%)
