- Most merchants: ₹5 lakh per transaction — ₹10 lakh/day
- Credit-card bill payments via UPI: ₹5 lakh per transaction — ₹6 lakh/day
- Jewellery shops: ₹2 lakh per transaction — ₹6 lakh/day

Banks may still apply lower per-transaction or daily caps.
