The Reliance Jio Book will be priced at just 15,000 ₹ ($184)
It will also support a 4G embedded sim card.
JioBook will run on the JioOS operating system. It will also have Jio apps like Jio messages,chat,games and an app store.
Some microsoft apps support will be there too like Office, edge, teams etc.
It will be built upon 3 years old 11nm Qualcomm Snapdragon 665 chipset.
It's a 11.6-inch screen laptop with up to 13-hours of battery.
It will be available to customers such as schools and government institutes from this month while a consumer launch is anticipated within the next three months.
JioBook will be produced locally by contract manufacturer Flex.
