Microsoft Launched New Bing & Edge powered by ChatGPT 4

Unlike ChatGPT, the new Bing can also retrieve news about recent events Microsoft says these features are all powered by ChatGPT 4 and its called “Prometheus Model,” and is more powerful than GPT 3.5.

Features of New Bing search:
• Microsoft Edge introduces a new sidebar for quick access to Bing chatbot
• Chatbot can provide summary info about open 15-page PDF file in "chat" mode
• "Compose" feature acts as a writing assistant in Edge
• Generates text from emails and social media posts
• Can read code snippets from Stack Overflow and rewrite in different programming language
• Can be switched in and out of chat mode
• The answers come with citations to their sources
• Chatbot can accept up to 1,000 characters

Microsoft said the new version of Bing is available now as a preview, which means users can try a limited number of queries. People can also join a waitlist for full access and these features are already available in Microsoft Edge Dev 111.0.1660.6.

Meanwhile, Google is also ready with their Chatbot - Bard. Bard, is opening up to trusted testers, and will be availble to users in coming weeks.
Not only this, Google is also investing almost $400 million in AI startup Anthropic, which is testing a ChatGPT rival called "Claude".
