Sega is reportedly buying ROVIO Entertainment for 1 Billion $.

Angry Birds game was a huge success in 2009, but its downfall started since its 2014 peak, when Rovio reported falling profits and layoffs.

Recently, Rovio removed its original Angry Birds game from the Google Play Store, and it renamed the iOS version to Red’s First Flight

In 2016, Rovio launched, The Angry Birds Movie, which was a box office success and is still the 7th highest grossing video game movie but failed with Angry Birds 2 Movie

Android 13 is now on 12.1% of devices, Android 11 still on top

Google has released the latest distribution charts for Android versions, revealing the market share of different Android OS versions running on devices such as phones, tablets, watches, and embedded devices.

The data shows that the adoption rate of Android 13 has doubled since January, from 5% to 12.1%. However, Android 11 remains the most widely used version, with a 23.5% share of devices, followed by Android 10 at 18.5%, and Android 12 at 16.5%. Meanwhile, older versions continue to decline in usage, with Android 4.4 running on just 0.6% of devices.

The current distribution statistics are as follows:
• Android 13: 12.1%
• Android 12: 16.5%
• Android 11: 23.5%
• Android 10: 18.5%
• Android 9: 12.3%
• Android 8: 6.7%
• Android 7: 3.3%
• Android 6: 2.5%
• Android 5: 1.9%
• Android 4.4: 0.6%
• Older: 2.1%
