Nothing Phone 2’s design is same like we’ve seen in the renders to which Carl Pei said were "Fake" just because renders showed it selfie camera at corner whereas its at center
But Back Panel is EXACTLY same as depicted in Renders
Carl Pei even "make fun" of Samsung for making Same design for S22 and S23 series.
Meanwhile he himself make Phone 1 and Phone 2 design same
The Phone (1) had 12 different lighting zones, whereas there are 33 of them in Phone (2).
Phone 2 comes with "Increased Bezels" from the Looks compared to Phone 1
These Glyph LEDs can be customized based on different apps.
Example: For apps Like Uber Eats, Zomato or Swiggy, LEDs basically starts to fade once the order is closer to your notification.

Carl Pei is a hypocrite.
During the start of Nothing, Carl Pei initially stated that their ecosystem would be "open" & would "effortlessly integrate" with other brands.
Now in 2023, Carl Pei announced that they are considering making features for Nothing users that will ONLY work between Nothing Phones.
Carl did 2 Twitter polls asking users whether to make Glyph Interface API open or not and users voted for it to be open.
Nothing has done nothing about this.
Also, only 1 Custom ROM has this closed-source feature.
Carl Pei even stated that "We are NOT an Android Manufacturing Company and their ambitions are greater than it and users buy Apple products", but now the tweet has been deleted.
Also, he bought a Galaxy Watch 5 Pro and considered smartwatches as "useless products" but ironically, a Nothing Smartwatch is under development.
He has also made fun of Samsung for using the same design in the Galaxy S22 and S23 series but turns out Nothing Phone (1) and (2) look quite similar.

Delhi HC ordered Oppo to pay 23% of India sales to Nokia
Apart from Germany, Oppo even infringed Nokia patents in India.
A two-judge bench of the Delhi High Court has ordered Chinese brand Oppo to pay 23% of its India sales to Nokia, within 4 weeks, for using Nokia's technology in its phones without the requisite consent.
Why 23% sales revenue?
Thats because Oppo sales in India accounts for 23% sales Oppo does globally
What is the case about?
Oppo obtained a licence from Nokia in 2018 for using some of its technology for 3 years & also made advance payments for the same.
But the agreement did not cover the use of 5G standards related patents.
Even after agreement was over, Oppo continued to use it without paying royalty to Nokia
Nokia's offered to renew the agreement, but Oppo refused.
Nokia then filed a case in Delhi High Court against Oppo for infringement of its patent for 2G, 3G, 4G and 5G devices in India.
Fun Fact: Nokia lawsuit forced all BBK brands to leave Germany

The Far Cry source code has leaked online

The source code from the original 2004 Far Cry game from developer Crytek has leaked online and can be downloaded on archive.org as "Far Cry 1.34 Complete"
Although some files are missing in the code like the Far Cry assets, users have been able to compile and run the game successfully with some work by getting the assets from an actual copy of the game.
Using this source code, someone could take it and remake the game with ray tracing or even path tracing.

Pixel Fold did not survive JerryRigEverything's durability test

Zack from JerryRigEverything has gotten his hands onto a Pixel Fold to test its durability.
In his test, the cover display protected by Gorilla Glass Victus scratched at level six with deeper grooves at level seven which is normal.
On the other side, the main display started scratching at level 2 with fingernails being able to leave a mark on the display's screen protector similar to other foldables.
The Fold shut down after a few seconds of heat being applied to the main display, which was never seen before on other devices.
Sadly, the phone did not pass the bend test as it snapped in half while bending the other way with no stopper that prohibits you from doing this.
Google advertises the "most durable hinge in a foldable", which may be true as it did not snap in half as the antenna lines were the faulty part in the design, maybe next time it'll do better?
