YouTube Music live lyrics are out on Android and iOS

Besides the Summer Recap '23, Google is also rolling out live lyrics to YouTube Music to all users.

The live lyrics got a small redesign from what we saw first in April with a blurred cover art as the background and different colors for the text: white for the current line and gray for the rest. (big thanks to quang for the screenshots)

RIP Asus Zenfone Smartphones

In June, ASUS announced to its employees through an internal letter that it will carry out organizational restructuring and in July, it laid off the PC department employees

But now, a source revealed that,
"This afternoon, units in the commercial department were called downstairs by the whole group, and units including engineers and procurement were cut directly in half."

"ASUS smartphones are divided into ROG and Zenfone series, but now the latest Zenfone 10 will be the LAST Zenfone.
The Zenfone team will be merged into other departments or directly into ROG team."

ASUS has also taken down a lot of its older firmware packages for its existing devices.

I love Asus Zenfone series for its great cameras, innovative features & design with powerful performance

Their Zen UI is really clean unlike OPPO & Xiaomi UI thats filled with bloatware & other garbage stuff, giving useful features only to China market

Huawei Technologies is building a secret semiconductor-fabrication facilities across China, that would let the blacklisted company Huawei to bypass US sanctions and boost China's ambitions

Huawei moved into Chips production in 2022 and Communist Party of China (CCP) has invested $30 billion into Huawei for SoC manufacturing acc to the Semiconductor Industry Association ( SIA)

SIA includes — Intel, TSMC, Samsung Electronics & many more

SIA revealed that Huawei has acquired atleast 2 existing plants & is building 3 more plants of semiconductor Fabrication

In short, Huawei which is working 100% under Chinese Government, is constructing and buying facilities under the names of other companies without disclosing its involvement to the world

This would help Huawei bypass US restrictions, allowing Chinese Government to indirectly purchase American chipmaking equipment and other supplies that are prohibited for Huawei

Asus Denied Rumours about Zenfone discontinuation

Previously it was reported that, Zenfone 10 could be last Zenfone smartphone

The report said, "ASUS smartphones are divided into ROG & Zenfone series, but now the latest Zenfone 10 will be the LAST.
Zenfone team will be merged into other departments or directly into ROG team"

Asus has now confirmed that rumour is FALSE
"Asus will continue Zenfone production line & they have a strong commitment to its smartphone business and customers"

Asus also noted that "Please refer our Q2 earnings call" as a proof that Zenfone isn't dead

Earnings has nothing to do with a smartphone discontinuation considering Zenfone sales are pretty low, but its one way of explaining investors about a product lifecycle

Also, the rumour is partially True

The thing with Zenfone is that Asus is probably slimming down 2 different teams that works on 2 different products (ROG & Zenfone) by merging into 1 team only that will work on 2 different products
