Nothing teased their Naughty Nothing Chats
You must have heard about green vs blue bubble messaging debate in the US as Apple doesn't want to RCS support because it helps them lock users to iOS.
To bypass this, Nothing has developed an app in partnership with Sunbird that allows you to iMessage from an Android phone.
Sunbird is an iMessage client that's available on Play Store and uses an Apple Mac Mini as the backend which logs in to your iCloud account to forward iMessages to you.
That's why your Apple ID is required to use, which isn't very secure as Nothing and Sunbird have access to all of your messages, which could leak if there were a security breach.
Nothing Chat will also support RCS messaging on the Phone (2) and it will be available in the US, UK & EU on 17th November
Ironically, Nothing says that they "believe in windows, not walls" while this app is Phone 2 exclusive and there is no word about it being available on Phone 1 or other Android phones.

WhatsApp backups will start counting toward your Google Account storage limit
You can currently back-up Unlimited chats & videos on WhatsApp to your Google account. But this will change soon
Google has announced that WhatsApp backups on Android will soon start counting toward your Google Account cloud storage limit which is 15GB per account
WhatsApp backups on Android will continue to work, as long as you have available space within your Google Account storage.
If you hit your storage limit, you’ll need to free up space to resume backups by removing items you do not need.

In some countries, Google gives an option of recording the calls in its dialer app.
But the recording comes with a catch as when you turn on call recording, the assistant speaks to the receiver only "Your call is NOW being recorded"
This has been done because, in some countries recording calls without consent is illegal by the law
But in the latest update of the Google dialer app, Google has given the option to stop this annoying announcement.
By turning ON the option — "Play audio instead of the disclaimer", the announcement won't happen
But the catch is that it will replace the announcement with a "BEEP" sound
Well, it is still much better than the announcement anyway & you also don't need to root your phone or use some 3rd party apps or mods to disable this announcement

Here are two new features coming to Google Photos:
1) Photo Stacks: Google Photos will now automatically identify and group similar photos that were taken close together into a Photo Stack and select the top pick that best captures that moment. You'll have the option to select your own top pick, modify stacks, or turn off Photo Stacks entirely.
2) Better screenshot and document organization: Google Photos will now better identify and automatically categorize screenshots and documents into more helpful albums like IDs, receipts, and event information. Also, Photos will automatically identify things like dates in screenshots so you can quickly add a reminder in your calendar.
