Apple Watches with blood oxygen tech are banned again
The US International Trade Commission found that Apple had infringed Masimo patents & ordered a BAN as a result.
But the ban was temporarily paused Apple then started selling the Watch Series 9 and Ultra 2 once again in the USA
Now, The US Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit has denied extending an interim stay on the Apple Watch ban.
That means Apple will once again have to stop selling its Apple Watch Series 9 and Ultra 2 devices that come with blood oxygen monitoring technology
However, The US Customs and Border Protection approved a measure to remove the blood oxygen feature from relevant Apple Watches.
So, Apple has once again started selling its watch but WITHOUT the blood oxygen monitoring functionality in the Apple Watches in the US
Apple touted Blood Oxygen monitoring as a "breathtaking innovation," and it now remains off-limits in the U.S as Apple was found stealing the tech from Masimo, a medical company

Initial Impressions of Samsung Exynos 2400: POWERFUL!
Since the SPEC test results of Exynos 2400 by Geekerwan aren't out yet, other YouTubers are testing it
Surprisingly, the Exynos 2400 did NOT disappoint!
In both Geekbench 6 & Geekbench 6 Compute results, Exynos 2400 scores around Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 only
In an INTENSIVE GAMING TEST performed by NL Tech, the Galaxy S24 & Galaxy S24+ appear to perform better than the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 for Galaxy in AAA games like Genshin Impact
What's great is, that the Exynos 2400 does NOT overheat & the temperature & frame rates are similar to that of the Galaxy S24 Ultra
If games are played on Vulkan instead of OpenGL, Xclipse 940 with AMD GPU will destroy the Adreno easily
S24 Ultra is better designed, has way better cooling & more space and still the Galaxy S24+ easily competes with it in the test
Just by using a better packaging method & improving the SF node, Samsung improved Exynos, matching the Snapdragon perf that is made on TSMC node

Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 for Galaxy
Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra is powered by Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 for Galaxy (SM8650-AC) OR 8 Plus Gen 3
The "AC" versions are best-binned than the "AB" ones
Samsung has bought exclusive rights for the "For Galaxy" naming from Qualcomm.
Samsung is also the first OEM to release a smartphone with the "Plus" variant & other OEMs are allowed to launch ~6 months later with it
Snapdragon 8 Gen 3:
1x Cortex-X4@ 3.30GHz
3x A720@ 3.2GHz
2x A720@ 3.0GHz
2x A520@ 2.3GHz
8+ Gen 3:
1x X4@ 3.39GHz
3x A720@ 3.1GHz
2x A720@ 2.9GHz
2x A520@ 2.2GHz
So except Cortex-X4 Prime core, Qualcomm downclocked other cores by 100MHz likely for better efficiency
Exynos 2400 was meant to be used on the S24 Ultra too.
The reason why it's using a Snapdragon chip is because of the contract period
Meanwhile some so-called "tech enthusiast" thinks that Samsung deliberately lowered the S24 Ultra performance to showcase Exynos 2400 better 🤓
Note: Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 is power-hungry on load

Xiaomi starts using 100% of its Brain
Xiaomi has opened up stable ROM testing recruitment for the next HyperOS update for eligible devices like Xiaomi 13T Pro, Poco F5, Redmi Note 12, etc
But since it is Xiaomi, they have used all their brain cells to come up with a plan for stable ROM testing recruitment instead of allowing anybody to test the betas & report bugs like Google and Apple do
First of all, Xiaomi limited the testing to 3000 members.
Secondly, they are even asking for 60 points to enroll for beta as well 😂
The point can be earned by "daily check-in", liking posts, etc in their Xiaomi community app as if it is some competition
Users also have to complete a quiz as well. This has been done to ensure a human is testing it and not a BOT
Just think for a second, why will a BOT test out beta updates?
Xiaomi employees literally have Peak Autism
FunFact: Xiaomi got more engineers working on adding new features than fixing the bugs & more features introduce more bugs

First Look at Google Pixel 9 Pro Renders
Source
The Google Pixel 9 Pro will come with a circa 6.5-inch flat display which is of course less than the Pixel 8 Pro size which measures a 6.7-inch display
Since the display size is smaller, this confirms that Pixel 9 Ultra will debut this time as well with a larger display size as it was rumored
There's a new Camera design with a periscope telephoto sensor this time.
The large sensor on the camera island suggests that Google will likely equip the device with support for variable aperture 🎉
Pixel 9 will also feature "Pixie", a new AI assistant, exclusive to Google Pixels which will be powered by Gemini, Google's most powerful data model
Some of the features of Pixie would be that it can pull information from Gmail, Maps, and other “data from Google products” on your phone to “evolve into a far more personalized version of the Google Assistant
