Mostly all Youtubers who review smartphones are paid by brands. Once the brand stops paying them, then they just start hating that brand only
This shows that their "honest" opinion of the device comes after the brand STOPS sponsoring them.
BEFORE that, all their reviews are just paid and biased
They'll recommend you to buy that specific smartphone with your hard-earned money till the time they are receiving FREE units from the brand
Once brand stop, they will start saying all the cons related to that smartphone
Its easy to identify which reviews are paid.
if the youtubers puts up the initial impressions or reviews "before" the smartphone sales starts, then it means the youtuber got it from that brand instead of using his own money to purchase it
That's why, if you really want to know about a product before purchasing it, just ask about it in their telegram groups because people there used their own money to bought that product

Android 15 will require that UI rendering be done using the Vulkan Graphics API instead of OpenGL.
The Android 14 CDD currently states that device implementations are "STRONGLY RECOMMENDED to use SkiaVk with HWUI" but this code change suggests that'll become "MUST" in the Android 15 CDD.
I think Pixel has already been doing this since Android 10, but I don't know what other devices enable this. It's enabled on my Galaxy S24 Ultra (

Madhav Sheth (Honor India CEO and Former Realme India & Global VP) is shamelessly promoting the 'RIP Tempered Glass' on Twitter for their Honor x9b launch
They are even claiming it's armed with an 'ultra bounce display featuring Airbag technology' – because apparently, phones now need airbags more than cars
NEXT UP: Seat Belt for smartphones ???
Yet, in a drop test, the Honor x9b display didn't quite bounce back from a modest 6ft drop & thus it cracked
Meanwhile, they talk about killing Tempered Glass lol
And while they chant about the display's strength, why Honor isn't offering free replacements if it cracks?
Maybe because the rest of the phone's features are drowning in disappointment –

The technical write-up for CVE-2023-45779 has been published by Tom Hebb of Meta's Red Team X, revealing that several Android OEMs such as ASUS, Fairphone, Lenovo, Microsoft, Nokia, Nothing, and Vivo, were signing some of their APEX modules with the test keys publicly available in AOSP.
This would have allowed a user or attacker (with shell privileges) to forge an APEX update to "gain near-total control over [the device]."
This issue was fixed by most affected OEMs with the December 2023 security patch, though, and it's quite hard to exploit by actual attackers - still, the issue reveals deficiencies in the Compatibility Test Suite (CTS) and AOSP documentation that are being resolved in response.
Google says they've added a test to their Build Test Suite (BTS) to warn of vulnerable APEXes and that changes to CTS are coming (but the latter won't be public until Android 15's release).

The Xiaomi 14 Pro versus Samsung S24+ CPU Throttle test post has been deleted because of the wrong comparison
One user pointed out that the on-surface temperature of Xiaomi 14 Pro was measured from the back while with S24+, it was measured from on-screen leading to an unfair comparison
Secondly, it was my fault for not taking both the comparison pics from the same user which I didn't notice it previously
Now with Exynos 2400, there is a little BAD News!
One of the sources close to Geekerwan has claimed that Geekerwan will NOT make any video on the Samsung Exynos 2400 efficiency and performance :(
Geekerwan tests are one of the most trustable and reliable when it comes to comparing Smartphone CPUs
However, Geekerwan will publish the efficiency curve of Exynos 2400 while comparing it with other SoCs
Expect a post on that whenever Geekerwan publishes it, to check how much Samsung has improved now

Since the leaker also spotted "Q6A", this indicates that a "budget" Galaxy Z Fold smartphone likely to be called Galaxy Z Fold FE will launch as well
It will be powered by Exynos 2490 which will be manufactured on Samsung's 3nm node with GAA architecture
Exynos 2490 will be underclocked and will be slower than the Exynos 2400
