⚠️Urgent: Phone Hacking Scam on Telegram - Malicious Magisk Module Warning

This scammer on Telegram [UID 1878505335] is spreading a dangerous Magisk module to hack/destroy phones and demand money. (stoplamers gang)
[See Screenshot 1- CHAT BETWEEN SCAMMER & VICTIM]

What Happened:
• [UID 7576386418] Victim Ganesh's phone was hacked via Scammer's module.
• Scammer demanded $100, threatening to destroy the phone if they didn't pay.
This guy alerted me to this scam.
I went undercover to investigate how it works
[See Screenshot 2- CHAT BETWEEN SCAMMER & Investigator] MUST READ

Here's how it went down:

There were only two things needed: "Zygisk" and the "virus module" (click to read more)

I was really surprised to find out it didn't even require a restart. Once you flashed it, it was basically done.

So I contacted the person and, pretending to be someone else, said I wanted to access my girlfriend's phone. I acted like a nibba & He seemed to believe my story and sent me the module.
To see how it works, I needed to install it. Instead of using the real module, I made two fake modules. I just copied module.prop file from his module, repacked it with my update binary, and flashed it using "kernel su".

The person was then trying to do things to my phone, but nothing was happening.😭🤣 I was just watching it and was really laughing hard because it wasn't working. Then he sent commands to run in the terminal, related to the service.sh file inside his module. Since I hadn’t installed the original module, the commands didn't do anything. He then seemed confused and started asking for my Android and kernel versions😂. Finally, he sent something I wouldn’t run as it was an obvious privacy concern. So, I've decided to just hold on to things for now since I have enough evidence
What Happens If You Flash This Module?:

• Scammer gets full access to your phone (data, messages, photos, chats etc.)
• Scammer can steal your data and money.
• Scammer can lock or destroy your phone. (he remotely destroyed victim's device making it unbootable)
• You will be blackmailed.

- Moral from this incident
• Do not flash modules from unknown sources
• Only use trusted modules.
• Be suspicious of free or "too good to be true" modules.
• Research modules before installing.

Stay safe and share this information with your friends to help stop these scams!

South Korea considers establishing TSMC KSMC

During a seminar held by the National Academy of Engineering of Korea (NAEK) on December 18, South Korean industry & academia proposed creating a “KSMC” (Korea Semiconductor Manufacturing Company) to address Nation’s semiconductor industry challenges & Samsung's failure to compete With TSMC.

It is estimated that a KRW 20 trillion ($13.9 billion) investment in KSMC could generate KRW 300 trillion ($208.7 billion) in economic benefits by 2045. The initiative would also support many smaller semiconductor companies, which relies solely on Samsung’s advanced nodes under 10nm.

TSMC maintains a balanced ecosystem with the help of foundries like UMC and PSMC. These two focus on manufacturing wafers on older lithography, while TSMC focuses on advanced technology. The same ecosystem could exist in South Korea for KSMC with the help of tax & credits benefits. SK Hynix CEO suggested repurposing some of Samsung’s legacy facilities as part of the plan.

Chinese fabless semiconductor company UNISOC (formerly Spreadtrum) has rebranded its entire chipset lineup to copy MediaTek. Out of 10 chipsets, only the old Unisoc SC9863A and Unisoc SC9832E have not changed their names and this is what they got with their new naming.

Your first look at the Poco X7 Pro, basically Redmi Turbo 4 in China, and it will come with ring lights.

Nothing introduced disco lights in smartphones 3 years ago and they still made it more useful than whatever iQOO and Xiaomi has done now. With this, Xiaomi and BBK have officially joined the gimmick feature trend of LED lights on the smartphone back.

Xiaomi again updates rules for unlocking bootloader in China

Last year, with the launch of HyperOS, Xiaomi changed policy for unlocking bootloader in mainland China and now the rules have been updated once again to unlock bootloader in 2025.

The number of unlocking permissions is time-limited in China. Until the end of the year, applications approved between November 8, 2023, and December 31, 2024, allow for a total of up to 3 devices during this period. But from 1st January 2025 onwards, users who have applied for unlocking bootloader can unlock upto 1 device only from 1 account during the validity period. This validity is based on actual unlocking time (not the binding time period).

Honestly, at this point they should just terminate the bootloader unlocking program as it will not suck as much as this. Xiaomi trying to look like still allowing bootloader unlocking while deep within they want to close it so badly is crazy

BREAKING: Xiaomi Announced New Rules for Bootloader Unlocking for Global Users

Xiaomi recently updates rules for its bootloader unlocking program in China which will be applicable since 1st Jan 2025 onwards. But the same rules are also applicable for global users.

Thus, global users can unlock ONLY 1 device per account in 1 year as the unlocking period is basically around 1 year. After that, you need to again apply for unlocking permissions from Xiaomi. In theory, the permissions should be given instantly but the reality is often disappointing as there have been instances where some users have been trying to gain permission to unlock bootloader for their phone for even 2 months now and still NO luck

Who knows Xiaomi might again updates its bootloader unlocking program rules in 2025 end wherein they might announce, GAME OVER.

VPN usage spiked in the US as States ban porn

17 states out of 50 states in the US (more than 33%),have now introduced restrictions for online adult content, blocking access to popular pornographic websites such as Pornhub, RedTube, YouPorn etc. The restriction applies to the under 18 age group and it also requires visitors to provide state-approved identification, such as a passport or driving license.

Critics claim that this is a violation of user privacy, with Pornhub, RedTube and YouPorn parent company Aylo claiming that it also puts people’s personal data at risk. These company have withdrawn its websites from these states as a result of the laws.

Further restrictions could be introduced under Donald Trump’s administration as controversial Project 2025 plan states :-
"Pornography should be outlawed. The people who produce and distribute it should be imprisoned”.

Windows 11 BitLocker Encryption has been BYPASSED!

Researchers have shown a method to bypass bitlocker using physical attacks. This attack is done by checking and capturing contents of RAM while the computer boots up. Why? Because bitlocker encryption key is temporarily stored when the PC is booting. A person can just restart while the pc is booting and dump the RAM to extract Full Volume Encryption Keys. (FVEK)

LOL even Bitlocker is not secure anymore!!!
