NVIDIA CPU for Desktop is coming this year
The Verge notes that Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang at CES 2025 hinted to investors and analysts that there are bigger plans for the Arm-based CPU within the GB10 Grace Blackwell Superchip, co-developed with MediaTek.
“You know, obviously we have plans,” Huang said during an investor presentation, referring to the new 20-core desktop CPU but said that he would “wait to tell you” what they are.
MediaTek has its own ambitions & Huang suggested that it may also bring the CPU to market, independent of Nvidia.
Additionally, Lenovo uses a "platform code" system to indicate the CPU, like A?? for AMD, I?? for Intel, Q?? for Qualcomm. There is also QNV which should mean Qualcomm/Nuvia.
However, the latest Yoga 2-in-1 16" 2025 Lenovo laptop has this funny platform code "N1X" and what could it be?

Here's why YouTubers should start posting videos on Pornhub instead
YouTuber Zara Dar recently quit her PhD to become an OnlyFans content creator shared that she is now using PornHub to upload her STEM AI lectures and in terms of revenue generation, the results are quite amazing.
Zara posted her videos on neural network both on YouTube and Pornhub, 4 months ago. The video has nearly 1 Million views on YouTube and only 32,000 views on the adult content site, but Dar claimed she made $1,000 per million views on Pornhub and only $340 on YouTube. That's around 3x times more revenue than YouTube.
Zara also said she posted the same information on LinkedIn as well. While the post went semi-viral on LinkedIn with many Top Voices reaching out to her, her account was unexpectedly blocked without prior notice.

Сегодня стало известно что Федеральная Торговая Комиссия (Далее FTC) вынесла решение по жалобе Министерства Юстиции США, в отношении международного юр лица Хойо - Congosphere.
Стороны пришли к соглашению и Hoyoversere обязуется принять меры и выплатить штраф в размере 20 миллионов долларов (тут можно почитать самый краткий в мире пресс релиз самих Хойо).
Юристы FTC вменяют Хойо отсутствие прозрачности в получении персонажей в Геншине и обмане игроков через механику лутбоксов (круток).
Так же жалоба говорит о нарушении правил COPPA (Правило о защите конфиденциальности детей в Интернете) со стороны Хойо.
Что в итоге:
· Хойо заплатит 20 миллионов долларов правительству США.
· В магазине скорее всего появятся наборы для покупки круток напрямую (что-то похожее уже есть в ZZZ).
· Возможно изменение языка вокруг баннеров и шансов получения персонажей.
· Добавят проверку возраста (age gate) перед покупками или крутками.
Чего скорее всего не будет:
· Крайне сомнительно, что могут появиться наборы прямой покупки персонажей. Их стоимость тогда будет составлять около 360 долларов, что вызовет просто бурю негатива и в каком-то смысле, сломает бизнес модель Геншина.
В целом, решение выглядит как одно из ряда направленных против “мягкой силы” Китая, от уже уходящей администрации Байдена и назначенной им главы FTC - Лины Кан. Бан Тиктока, Штраф Tencent и Фортнайт (тоже частично принадлежит Tencent) и теперь Хойоверс. Будет ли этот курс резко изменен или продолжен новой администрацией — мы скоро узнаем.
Игроки из США и не только, негодуют и указывают на абсолютно безумные практики развода от EA и их спортивных симуляторов или лутбоксы без гарантий от Valve в CS:GO. Однако это пока “свои” и их не трогают.

Несмотря на то, что HoYoverse знала о том, что ее сервисом пользуются дети младше 13 лет, она продолжала собирать личную информацию детей и передавала сторонним аналитическим фирмам и рекламодателям идентификаторы пользователей, а также постоянные идентификаторы устройств для отслеживания прогресса игроков, покупок, настроек и списков друзей.
Что в итоге:
· Хойо заплатит 20 миллионов долларов правительству США.
