TCL Huaxing DMCA's post for complaining about Xiaomi 15 Pro Display
Source
Xiaomi 15 Pro display uses TCL Huaxing M9 substrate which is co-developed with Xiaomi. A Chinese blogger complained about the same calling it "average" as he compared the display quality to previous Xiaomi flagships like 14 Ultra, 13 Ultra, 12S Ultra etc with the Mi 11.
The guy used real comparison photos with his own phone to demonstrate Xiaomi 15 Pro's screen defects and shortcomings. Basically all 1300 comments agreed with the post even. However, TCL Huaxing took down the post after sending a DMCA notice claiming that the guy is spreading "false information".
One user mentions that he could have said, "

this year's Xiaomi screen is too green" when compared to other domestic screens. You don't need any scientific instruments to measure it, the human eye can see the green. Because you said that the quality of its screen is too poor, this statement is a bit exaggerated.

Majority of Nothing Phone 2a users are facing issues with the display quality
Phone 2a has a dual sourced display from BOE and Visionox. The latter has visible issues of green tint while the BOE panel which is in the majority of units suffers from:
• Black Crush – shadows lose detail completely
• Green Tint – when unlocking via fingerprint
• HDR Playback Issues – colors look weird & fake
• Red Tint in HDR – unnatural, reddish overlay
• Black/Purple Smearing – motion trails in dark UI
When most of the users complained to the Nothing service center, they simply said “This is normal for AMOLED.”

How does one know Summer season has arrived in India:
I have no idea what quality of components the OEMs use for the Indian market and even after doing special thermal config for the Indian region, still few cases are reported.

4chan is back after a nearly two-week shutdown
On April 14th, a hacker exploited an outdated software and hacked 4chan, via a fake PDF upload, which led to a severe breach of its databases and source code. After the hacker downloaded the data, they started vandalising 4chan.
The servers were running old OSs, the staff wasn't able to update the code and infrastructure. 4chan rarely got advertisers.
Now, the breached server has been replaced, PDF uploads have been disabled temporarily, and the /f/ - Flash board has been closed permanently, to prevent similar exploits using .swf files. 4chan is now recruiting volunteers to keep up with the workload.

Google revises its strategy for how Chrome handles third-party cookies. Going forward, Chrome will block third-party cookies by default only in Incognito mode. The company also plans to review its use of Privacy Sandbox technologies and outline a new roadmap in the coming months.
Last summer, Google backed away from its plan to completely remove third-party cookies from Chrome. Instead, it proposed showing users a dialog box to confirm consent to blocking.
Now, that idea has been abandoned entirely. Third-party cookie blocking will only happen if users enable the feature in their Privacy & Security settings. This means that Chrome will retain the approach of allowing third-party cookies by default, but allowing users to manually enable blocking if they wish.
In addition to revising its cookie blocking strategy, Google has announced plans to enable IP protection in Incognito mode. The feature will launch in the third quarter of this year. IP protection hides a user’s real IP address by routing traffic through proxy servers. When enabled, websites will only see the proxy server's IP address, similar to using a VPN.

Karnataka High Court orders blocking of Proton Mail
The Karnataka High Court has directed India's central government to "issue proceedings in terms of Section 69A of IT Act 2008 to block Proton Mail" nationwide.
This decision came after a petition by M Moser Design Associates, according to which vulgar and abusive emails about a female employee, including AI-generated deepfakes were being sent via Proton Mail to other staff and clients.
The petition also claimed that Proton allows to select India as server location, even though it has no servers in India. The court has also ordered to immediately block all the offending URLs mentioned in the petition.

Congress Passes TAKE IT DOWN Act Despite Major Flaws
The House of Representatives has passed the TAKE IT DOWN Act, which criminalizes non-consensual sharing of intimate images, including revenge porn and AI-generated deepfakes, imposing up to 2 years’ imprisonment for adults and 3 for minors. It mandates platforms to remove content within 48 hours of reporting, enforced by the FTC.
However, critics say that bad faith actors could abuse it to remove almost anything from the internet, and Donald Trump could use it to quiet others. The bill could lead to "suppression of lawful speech."
