Google app icon gets an update
Google has updated its colorful “G” logo for the first time in almost a decade. An update to the Google app on iOS and Pixel phones shows a new logo that blends the logo’s red, yellow, green, and blue colors into a gradient.
Google last made a major change to its logo in September 2015, when the company updated its font to a sans-serif typeface

MediaTek Dimensity 7400 and 6400 Specs
MediaTek recently launched Dimensity 7400 SoC alongside 7400X for foldables. Nothing new is there as this chipset is just 100MHz overclocked Dimensity 7300.
Dimensity 7400 CPU:
• 4x Cortex-A78 @ 2.6GHz
• 4x Cortex-A55 @ 2GHz
Meanwhile Dimensity 7300 CPU is clocked at 2.5GHz. Both of them has the same Mali -G615 MC2 GPU alongside LPDDR5 RAM with UFS 3.1 support and are made by TSMC on its 4nm mode
Btw, Dimensity 7350 CPU:
• 2x Cortex-A715 @ 3GHz
• 6x Cortex-A510
GPU: Mali-G610 MC4
Thus, Dimensity 7350 > D7200 > D7400 > D7300 > D7050 = D1080
(Yes, totally not confusing)
Dimensity 6400 CPU:
• 2x Cortex-A76 @ 2.5GHz
• 6x Cortex-A55 @ 2GHz
It is 100Mhz overclocked version of Dimensity 6300 that's clocked at 2.4GHz. Both of them shares the same Mali -G57 MC2 GPU alongside LPDDR4X RAM with UFS 2.2 support and are made by TSMC on its 6nm mode

Buy your GPUs before geo-tracking tech is forced
Senator Tom Cotton has introduced the Chip Security Act to prevent advanced U.S. chips from reaching adversaries like China. This includes high-end graphics cards (RTX 4090, RTX 5090) and AI chips.
The bill mandates location tracking technology on export-controlled chips within 6 months of enactment, allowing U.S. to verify their location. Companies must report diversions or tampering.
The Secretary of Commerce will verify chip locations and maintain a registry of current locations and end-users. A U.S. congressman also wants chips to not boot without proper export licenses.
