A high severity zero-day vulnerability in Apple devices allows attackers allows attackers to drain your wallets
Logged as CVE-2025-43300, the bug is an out-of-bounds write issue in ImageIO, the component apps rely on to read and write standard image formats. Apple warned that the flaw could let miscreants hijack devices with a booby-trapped image – and for some iDevice users, it sounds like the damage has already been done.
Thus If anyone sends you a malicious picture on iOS or macOS, they can drain your wallets.

The issue had been fixed with iOS 18.6.2 and iPadOS 18.6.2 and therefore update your Apple devices.

- October 2025: Early access begins
- March 2026: Verification opens
- September 2026: These requirements go into effect in Brazil, Indonesia, Singapore, and Thailand
- 2027 and beyond: Rolling out gradually
- Developers have to verify personal details over at Android Developer Console, apps can still be distributed outside of Play Store as usual
- Only devices with Google Play services installed are affected from this change

Spotify is introducing a direct messaging feature that allows users to share music, podcast, and audiobook recommendations with each other without leaving the app. Both Free and Premium accounts users aged atleast 16 years old can share audio content and send messages to each other.
Spotify users can share content and start messages with people they share a Spotify plan with, or other users they’ve interacted with through Spotify before, such as via Jams, Blends, and Collaborative Playlists. Users can choose to accept or reject message requests, block other users, or opt out of Messages entirely.
Spotify says the user-to-user messages are 1:1, support text conversations and emoji reactions, and are protected by “industry-standard encryption".
