TFM Refund Policy
Your satisfaction is our top priority. In the event you encounter any issues with our services, we have developed the following refund policy to address your concerns.
1. Procedure to Request Refund: In order to request a refund, you must provide us with your work id which can be located at the bottom of your work logs. The TFM Support team will subsequently evaluate your work logs to determine the issue and its cause.
2. Credit Refunds: If your work is stuck due to no fault of your own (e.g., your driver is compatible, and there is no cable or device removal issue), TFM will provide a refund of your credit. In cases where TFM falsely indicates that the job is completed, a refund will also be issued. However, proof of job incompletion will be required.
3. No Refund for Flash Firmware: TFM will not issue a refund if your work is stuck during flash firmware due to several potential issues including downgrade/wrong firmware, hardware or USB cable issues, or certain file writing issues.
4. V-AUTH Credit: Refunds will not be issued for problems related to your driver. This includes situations where your phone is connected to your computer using a USB cable and the computer's device manager detects an incompatible USB comport driver (see attached image for an example).
5. Incompatible Drivers: Drivers labelled as 'USB Serial Device' are incompatible. Drivers released before 2015 are also considered incompatible. We strongly recommend using updated drivers released between 2015-2022 by mediatek to avoid such issues.
6. No Refunds for Incompatible Driver Issues: If your computer lacks a compatible driver, it may read unexpected data from the comport which could impede your work. As setting up the right driver is necessary before our work, refunds will not be granted for issues related to incompatible drivers.
We understand the critical role of drivers in device flashing and other tasks and assume our users, especially skilled technicians, are aware of these requirements. Please ensure your drivers are up-to-date and compatible before starting work.
