Mark my word, Ethiopia will become the next Japan

You know how there are weebs—people who are completely obsessed with everything about Japan?
I genuinely believe that if Ethiopia continues developing the way it is now, we’ll see the same thing happen with Ethiopia.
There will be people from all over the world who are obsessed with Ethiopian culture, history, food, music, landscapes—everything.
I’ve been watching Ethiopian travel vlogs since I was in grade 8 or 9, and over time I started noticing something interesting:
the way foreigners talk about Ethiopia, admire it, and slowly fall in love with the country. Their perspective is very different from how we often see ourselves.
As Ethiopia develops more—economically, culturally, and globally—this admiration will only grow.
I’m convinced that in the future, there will be a lot of people who look at Ethiopia the same way Japan is looked at today.
And honestly? We’re already seeing the early signs of it.
