Went out and bought a type C earphone since the one I had (that lasted me for 8 month btw) decided to die on me. My finances are now in the great depression🗣🗣

Decided to create a small project that uses the YouTube API and telegram bot API. The idea started when my parents were trying to watch አራዳ ቅዳሜ via YouTube but sometimes the ebs channel doesn't post the videos. It got me thinking to build a telegram bot that allows my parents to get notified whenever episodes come out.

Why wouldn't I just stick with the normal YouTube notification? Well, in this case ebs puts out tons of videos as it has multiple programs. I also wanted to ease the notification process for my parents, so I made it so that it only notifies them when new አራዳ ቅዳሜ episodes come out, alongside providing the links to said video.

Now that being said, I have to still figure out a way to make sure that this noscript is running indefinitely on launch (as my broke ass doesn't have access to VPS' like digital ocean so I can't use pm2).

My idea for now is to launch it on render and have the url be hit every 10 to 15 minutes so that it doesn't go to sleep until I find a better way of handling it

I am thinking of making it generic in the near future so it can apply to any demographic and specific filter. Proud of this what I guess is a simple project.

TL;DR:
Built a YouTube + Telegram bot project to notify my parents when new አራዳ ቅዳሜ episodes are uploaded by the EBS channel (Because horrible and non-consistent upload schedules).

Im thinking of getting back to writing again. I have accumulated some ideas over the past couple of months. I hope to spread some positivity and different thinking style to each and every single one of you. Appreciate yall so much

There are so many people and channels that do so much and produce so much valuable content it makes me wonder what I have done with my own channel. I know I haven't been as intuitive and huge as the others (be it channels in the tens, hundreds, or thousands). Nonetheless thank you for sticking by and dealing with my annoying bs. Hopefully we grow this channel to greater heights. I have many things planned from coding to other slice of life stuff. To many more🙏🏽
