92 cattle branded today. Up at 5:00 am. We rounded up two pastures. While I can ride a horse, and have done my share of grunt work on the ranch for 16 years, I am no real cowboy. Every muscle in my body is sore! My father-in-law holding the branding iron is in his 70's, and makes us 40 something's look bad. Nothing that a little cheap bourbon won't help with.
We also partner with amazing cowboys. Branding is the original pit crew operation. The skill involved with roping, riding, and sorting is a thing to behold. I hope to share a few more images when I return to civilization.

The Sabbath. We are told to keep it Holy. Are you resting in the Lord today? This church is in the little town of Nara Visa, NM, where I'm branding.
It wasn't open for a service, but I love to look at this white chapel in the middle of nowhere, all the same. We had terrific fellowship around a bonfire last night, and later into the morning with one of my closest friends. We talked about Jesus for hours. What we thought was happening in the world around us. We rested in the Lord.
I am so optimistic about what God has in store for our country. The fight isn't over, but God has won. Watch him work. Listen to His commands. He commands rest and reflection of who He is.
Rest. Marshall your strength. Tomorrow is a big day.

A reassignment will take time. Given this, will the hearing still take place tomorrow? Could be a minor blessing in disguise. Until we know more, keep auditing!

Dems went shopping for an intern to Judge Coury to force him to recuse himself from the case. However, the case has now been appealed to the AZ Supreme Court. It would seem that the Dems are just a day late. Good move by Kory Langhofer on the appeal to the Supreme Court. Now we wait to see which Superior Court Judge will be assigned the case or if they AZ Supreme Court takes it from here.

Reading 1 Samuel 17: 31-58. The Lord is not glorified by our might. The Lord is glorified when we trust in His great provision despite the odds. David's provision against Goliath was a smooth stone. A shepherd versus a giant warrior. David did not fear the giant. God looks down at the mightiest among us and laughs.
God guided the stone to ensure it found its mark. God strengthened the right arm of David. A giant fell. An army fled. Israel won. But only because David concerned himself with God's glory. Pray that God would use you in great ways---for His glory. No judge, no corrupt law firm, no compromised politician will stop the creator of Heaven and Earth. Don't believe that? God won't use you.
There is no greater time to be alive. There is no greater adventure to be a part of. God works though His people. Watch God win.
