More echoes of the past. Today ghost signs are still in abundance in #London. Anyone know where these ones are? At least one of them has a big clue in the name.

On the borders of the City of #London and the East End, the erosion of the aesthetics of our beautiful and historic city continues almost daily. #Bishopsgate #EC2

One of the most dangerous forms of naivety is to believe that just because you wish no harm on others, that they're not working hard to see great harm unto you.

I have said more than once that I hold space to be something purely relative, as time is an order of coexistence, as time is an order of successions.

I also readily admit that there are animals, taken in the ordinary sense, that are incomparably larger than those we know of, and I have sometimes said in jest that there might be a system like ours which is the pocketwatch of some enormous giant.

I strongly approve the study of games of reason, not for their own sake, but because they help to perfect the art of thinking.

Human beings are never more ingenious than in the invention of games.
