A funny language fact:
The Proto-Germanic word *Fehu means "Livestock" or "Cattle". At a later time, it becomes associated with wealth. Old Norse "fé" refers to livestock, cattle, "wealth", and "property". The association lies in the fact that a family with livestock is indeed a wealthy family. This word later becomes "feh" in Middle English, and finally in modern English *drumroll*.......... "Fee"!
