Hunters, it's time to get your licenses and clean your shotguns. Dove season is almost here! Based on various TPWD surveys, both mourning dove and white-winged dove populations in the Panhandle District are well above average. Of note is an estimated 76% increase in mourning dove numbers in the High Plains compared to 2023. Best of luck this year hunters!
