Now Xiaomi cars are also made to kill it's users
A driver in China died after crashing his Xiaomi SU7 electric vehicle, which caught fire.
It's not entirely Xiaomi's fault as the driver was drunk and was driving at a speed of 214 KM/h which is way above the speed limit. After the crash, there was a power failure
However, since its a Xiaomi product, the doors get locked and all the rescue attempts failed to save the driver by the bystanders who saw the crash. Xiaomi shares fell about 9% after the incident in China.

Google now shields Xiaomi phones with a 3-month security rule
⦁ Google now shares critical security patches privately with OEMs like Xiaomi before making details public.
⦁ There’s a 3-month embargo on releasing patch source code to prevent hackers from exploiting the info early.
⦁ OEMs can still send compiled patch updates to users immediately, so phones get fixes faster.
⦁ This “security through obscurity” helps protect devices better by giving manufacturers time to deploy patches worldwide first.
⦁ Xiaomi users benefit with quicker and more secure updates, especially on HyperOS devices.
Overall, it’s a win for faster, safer security updates without exposing vulnerabilities to attackers early! 🔒⚡
