Have you heard of a Möbius strip? It's a fascinating loop with only one surface and one edge. You can easily make one by taking a strip of paper, giving it a half-twist, and then gluing the ends together.
Now, here's where it gets interesting. If you try to cut this strip down the middle, you'll end up with one long loop instead of two separate pieces. Try cutting it in half several times and you'll see the same result.
That's exactly how I feel when trying to solve certain problems—it just turns into a long, continuous loop with no inside or outside. If you start at any point and keep going, you'll cover the entire surface without ever encountering an edge, eventually returning to where you began.
It's a perfect metaphor for life's persistent challenges!

🤔 Someone just asked me this intriguing question: "Can an omnipotent being create a stone so heavy that even they cannot lift it?"
If an omnipotent being can create such a stone, then logically, there would be something they couldn't do—lift that stone. That would seem to limit their omnipotence. On the flip side, if they cannot create a stone so heavy, then again, there's something they cannot do—create that stone. Either way, it seems to challenge the concept of omnipotence itself.
I've seen some videos exploring this paradox, suggesting that this statement is simultaneously true and false. The twist? Some argue that logic exists because an omnipotent being created it. 🤯

Wait and see
Once there was a farmer who lived with his son. One day, their only horse ran away. The neighbors sympathized with the farmer over his bad luck. "What terrible luck!" they exclaimed.
The farmer replied, "Maybe."
A few days later, the horse returned, leading a herd of wild horses. The neighbors congratulated the farmer on his good fortune. "What great luck!" they said.
The farmer replied, "Maybe."
Later that week, while trying to tame one of the wild horses, the farmer's son fell and broke his leg. Again, the neighbors offered their sympathy. "What awful luck!" they said.
The farmer replied, "Maybe."
A month passed, and the country went to war. All able-bodied young men were drafted to fight. The farmer's son was left behind because of his broken leg. The neighbors praised the farmer for his good luck.
The farmer replied, "Maybe."

You know, I've noticed this really interesting thing happening with my productivity and motivation lately...
Right before my big final exams, I suddenly get this burst of energy and ideas. I start coming up with all these amazing projects I want to work on and feel super motivated to learn new things. But then as soon as the exams are over, that motivation just...disappears.
It's like my brain is in overdrive leading up to the exams, but then it's like "Okay, test is done, time to relax!" and all those project ideas I had just kind of fizzle out.
Has anyone else experienced something similar? Where you're just brimming with creativity and drive right before a big deadline, but then it's hard to maintain that momentum afterwards?
I'm really curious to know if this is a common thing, or if it's just me. What do you all do to keep that motivation going, even when there's no looming exam or project to work towards?
I'd love to hear your thoughts and see if we can figure out ways to bottle up that pre-exam productivity and use it year-round. Maybe creating our own mini-deadlines or rewards systems could help? Let me know what's worked for you!

"It is not enough that we build products that function, that are understandable and usable, we also need to build joy and excitement, pleasure and fun, and yes, beauty to people’s lives."

To be honest, if it functions smoothly and does its job well, that's usually enough for me! 😁

I recently came across an interesting concept called the Phi Coefficient, which calculates the correlation between two variables. (Check it out here: Phi Coefficient). So, I decided to give it a try and had this cool idea: why not use it to find out how our…
Hey there! Remember that phi-coefficient noscript I told you about? Well, I used that as the basis to create a simple webapp where you can log your daily events, tasks, and productivity levels. The app then generates some really cool analytics - things like your overall productivity trends, which tasks are linked to positive or negative outcomes, and more. The analytics features are premium-only, but the core diary functionality is free for everyone.
I'm just putting the finishing touches on a couple new features. Should have the whole thing ready for you to try out really soon. Can't wait to hear what you think!
