Did you know you can 3D print almost anything? I found some open-source projects that can be 3D printed, so I reached out to a few providers for pricing. I remember it used to be around 8 birr per gram, but now they've told me it's 15 birr per gram, and they'll decide whether or not they can print the item.
i know the material has a very low density but 15 birr per gram seems a bit expensive,
Does anyone here 3D print things? For example, I want to 3D print a case for a project I'm working on and potentially sell it. However, with the current pricing, I'm not sure if it will be profitable or if people will be willing to buy it.

Long post , but I promise there’s a point..
You know, I've been thinking about that saying, "A hero can only be as good as their villains." It came into my head while I was reading Limitless by Jim Kwik a book that I heard about through a review and decided to buy it. I'm not finished with it yet, but in the introduction, Kwik talks about comic books and how many of them follow this classic plot structure called the Hero's Journey, as outlined by Joseph Campbell. You might have heard of it. it's also known as the "monomyth."
Campbell's idea is that many stories, myths, and even our lives follow this pattern of a hero's adventure, facing challenges, and ultimately transforming. But what’s really got me thinking is how in these stories, the villains play a role in shaping the hero's journey. The greater the villain, the greater the hero has to become.
This made me wonder aren't we all sort of living our own comic books? But here's the catch: we don’t always know who or what our villains are. It’s like we're heroes on our journeys, but we’re up against invisible or unidentified foes. And that’s where things get tricky.
In life, our "villains" might not be a person wearing a cape or an evil mastermind. They could be our own doubts, fears, or limitations those internal struggles that hold us back. Sometimes, they're external challenges like tough circumstances, societal pressures, or even just the daily grind.
But here's the kicker: identifying these "villains" is key to understanding our own hero's journey. Because once we know what we're up against, we can rise to the challenge, just like any hero would. So, maybe our first task isn't to save the world, but to figure out what we’re battling against. After all, every hero's strength is defined by the villains they face.
Thanks for hanging in there till the end! A like from you would make my day!

Don't read this post its weird
You know, I’ve been thinking about how water inspires me. It’s strange, right? Something that isn’t even alive, inspiring us who are. But here’s what I mean:
Imagine the ocean this huge, powerful force. Its waves can wipe out anything in their way, and when it floods, it can destroy whole cities. There’s this sense of anger and raw power in it destruction and even death.
But then, think about water in a pond. It’s so calm and quiet, like it’s at peace with everything around it. It feels free, untouched by all the chaos. And when you look at water in a glass, it’s so still no smell, no taste, but it’s literally life itself.
Water can be solid like ice, flowing like liquid, or even rising up like clouds that drift above us and rest beneath our feet. It’s got this crazy mix of being powerful yet gentle, peaceful yet sometimes full of anger. Water is in everything, almost like it’s alive.
I guess I want to be like water calm and at peace most of the time, but with the strength to push back when needed.
What do you think aren’t we all a little like water?

I made the worst Unboxing video
I tried to make an unboxing video, but it sucks. I ordered this item three weeks ago for just $0.99, while someone else quoted me 600 birr for the same thing! Most of the items arrived in a plastic bag, and it looks like they might have been opened and resealed with tape before reaching the post office. I have also ordered AirPods for $1 and shoes for $0.99 😁 let's see how those turn out when they arrive

In one of MrBeast's videos, 100 Boys Vs 100 Girls For $500,000 (I love MrBeast, by the way), he split a group of boys and girls into two teams, each competing for a $500,000 prize. At one point, he gave both teams 100 Rubik's cubes, and the challenge was to see which team could solve all of them first. Out of 100 people on each team, only one boy and one girl could solve the Rubik's cube.
I was surprised by this because I thought more people would know how to solve it, given how popular puzzles and games are.
So, I'm guessing that in this channel, only 8 members might be able to solve it. I'll post a poll be honest with yourself, and let's see if my guess is correct!

The Last of Us and the Trolley Problem
I’m assuming you’re either familiar with the ending of The Last of Us or you don’t plan on watching it, so I’ll dive right in. SPOILERS ahead.
In the season finale a scenario presents a modern twist on the classic Trolley Problem, introduced by Philippa Foot in 1967. This ethical dilemma asks if it’s acceptable to sacrifice one person to save many others. (The original scenario includes a “fat man,” which feels a bit harsh given the context.)
Would you choose to kill one person to save many others? If you don't, more people might die. What would you do in that situation?

We have something coming up... N K( @DrMosfet ) will show us solving a 7x7 Rubik's Cube (he'll upload the video). And as a reward, I’m ordering him AirPods directly from AliExpress. He’ll pick them up from the post office in about 20 days. I’ll share both the video and the ordering process soon!

"I hated every minute of training, but I said, ‘Don’t quit. Suffer now and live the rest of your life as a champion.’"
— Muhammad Ali
You don’t always have to love what you do, but you should have a real reason for doing it. Think about eating do you eat because you love every meal? No, you eat to survive, even if the food isn’t your favorite. You push through because the goal is to stay alive, not starve.
So, when it comes to studying, working, or any task you don't enjoy, remember this: you don’t need to love it. Just focus on your reason for doing it. Whether it's to learn, to grow, or to achieve something bigger, that reason is what matters most.

He made it, but the video was too big like 2GB 😳 so we had to cut out some parts. But here it is: this genius solving a 7x7 Rubik’s Cube. I wish someone could solve my life like this, as if life could be solved by rotating it 😁. Anyway, watch the video, comment, and if there are more of you with this kind of talent, we’d love to see it! Just send me a video recording, and I’ll share it on the channel.
By the way, he sent it to me the same day, but because of 'መብራት 😫' , I couldn’t edit and post it right away. and also I kept my word as promised, and he can verify that in the comments.
About this 'መብራት ' issue if you know any free or affordable workspace please drop a comment.
I’m aware of ALX, Hubbits, and Creative Hub, but if you have other suggestions, I’d love to hear them!

So today, I had an online job interview where I was asked to fix some error messages. They gave me FTP access, and honestly, the errors weren't anything new to me I’ve encountered them plenty of times before. I thought, "I've got this job in the bag!"
But then reality hit. 😅 Between electricity issues and internet connection, I couldn't get much done. At one point, I even started losing hope. Instead of giving up, I tried downloading the entire project turns out it's a huge ERP system they bought from Envato. 😂 Now, I have the code base...who needs the job?
In the end, I had to tell them that I couldn’t get anything done and apologized for wasting their time. 😁
But it got me thinking how do you guys manage full-time online jobs? How did you land them, and what challenges did you face or are currently facing? I'd love to hear your stories!

This summer, one of my goals was to improve my reading skills, and I've been sticking to it by reading one book per week. But reading alone can feel a bit isolated. Wouldn't it be great if we had a group where we could reflect on what we've read, share our views, and exchange suggestions basically like a book club? When we read with the intention of teaching or discussing what we've learned, it can really motivate us and help us understand the material better.
So, here's what I'm thinking: I'll create a group where we can share what we've been reading, talk about what we've learned, give book suggestions, and read other people's perspectives. Even if you're not a regular reader, you might find yourself getting motivated to pick up a book.
Another idea I have is about sharing books. I prefer physical books over PDFs, but buying a new book every week at around 400 birr adds up. If we could exchange or sell books to each other, it could make things a lot more manageable. What do you think?
