DESIRE, KARMA, PROJECTIONS - HOW WE ARE TRAPPED IN A SELF-INFLICTED PRISION

“Whenever there is a flickering of desire for even one moment, it becomes exaggerated, and it goes on for miles and miles. It is like an echo chamber. You take a look at a person for only a few seconds, and you are attracted to him or her. Then you want to get hold of and possess that person. Fifteen minutes later, you send out all the retinues of your desire.

You send out rays to envelop that person completely and make them a part of you. Likewise, you may have a slight dislike for someone. Although you may have only had dealings with them for five seconds, you still begin to develop immense aggression toward them, and twenty-five minutes later, you have developed a gigantic fortress to defend yourself from them and whole armies to attack that person. Not only are you ready to destroy that person, but you are ready to uproot them altogether.

Those are examples of what is known in Buddhist psychology as the expansion of what is minute. That is how things work in our samsaric world. In that way, we begin to create a gigantic world of samsara. We have been doing that for a long time. Another pattern that comes up in samsara is having a perverted notion of what is going on. That is, when you encounter a situation that is not all that desirable from a common-sense point of view, somehow you manage to think that it is extraordinary.

You begin to reinterpret it and change the logic of whatever is happening. For instance, you might regard somebody who is a nice person as a terrible person. Quite unnecessarily, you begin to develop the arbitrary logic of passion and aggression. That kind of change in logic evolves from neurotic tendencies at the level of what are called “mental contents” in abhidharma. That is, the mind begins to change the message of reality by imposing its preconceptions on things.

Once our preconceptions have developed, once we have already made up our mind, we begin to create our own world out of our own desire or aggression. At that point, our aggression or desire has already produced its result, and by the law of cause and effect, or karma, that result determines future possibilities and results. Therefore, we are helpless. We are trapped in our own doing. Intense aggression in the present will result in our being unable to escape from undesirable situations in the future.

So the only way to prevent the results of karma is to cut the present situation. And the way to do so is through mindfulness practice. Because you are being mindful, you do not follow desires when they come up. Each time there is a desire, you are mindful of it, but you don’t follow it. In that way you cut the minute desires. Those desires might seem meaningless at the time; nevertheless, you don’t follow them. Although they seem to be very small in proportion, if you cut an inch of small desires, in the long run you are cutting a mile of larger desires. So cutting desires an inch at a time goes a long way.

As realistic people who feel real pain and real pleasure, we are concerned with one main point: to cut the chain of karmic debt. We may experience the possibility of getting out of such a nuisance altogether, but to do so we need to understand how karma begins. Knowing how karma begins, right at the beginning, seems to be the key point.”

If you look at it all from the “outside” [as much as that is possible because none of us can be truly “objective”, i.e. seeing with the “eyes of the Divine”], there is clearly a Divide & Conquer agenda occurring based on the trap of identification [with a political party, ideology, race, gender or any other beliefs and -isms we’re attached to and programmed with, even just unconsciously.

Contrary to popular belief in the “truth community”, being identified as an anarchist or non-statist is also a trap. In fact, it oftentimes feeds the superiority complex with this superficial black & white idea that “all governments are evil" [based on a very limited materialistic view of the world] while looking down on “statists.”

However, to expect that humanity will look through it anytime soon is wishful thinking at best and delusional at worst nor are any of us truly “sovereign” even if you subscribe to the non-statist/Anarchism ideology intellectually and externally for you are still “slave” to your unconscious impulses, wounds, shadow traits, conditioned desires, lower nature drives, social/cultural programming, etc….unless you are “awake” in the true meaning of the word, fully Self-realized and soul-embodied.

In other words, “free will” is only relatively true, as Sri Aurobindo wrote about as well. Only the ego believes itself to be "independent" but it's an illusion. Nothing can over-ride Divine Will. The human being is a transducer of higher energies. It can be a transducer for occult hostile forces and/or divine forces...usually always a mix of them depending on your level of Being,

There is something else happening as well. Beyond the Divide & Conquer agenda [which ties into the topic of all topics - the hyperdimensional matrix], there is also a NATURAL and NECESSARY “division” and splitting happening which has nothing to do with beliefs or ideologies or “in-fighting” or Controlled Op/Cointelpro but with soul potential, level of being, soul trajectory, soul lessons, karma, etc. - all of which the mind/intellect has no way of fully comprehending for it is Divine Will which over-rides any person’s little will.

The New Age has distorted the idea of the “splitting of humanity” which we see in many people clamming to be in 5D. This is no different than the dogmatic Christian distortion of the “rapture”. It also feeds ego and self-importance.

So, what will exactly happen in the future? I’m not here to tell you nor would I pretend to know. There are many possibilities and probabilities. I’m not in the prediction business nor do I give into hopium or fear porn. Hope and Fear are two sides of the same coin. Don’t get attached to either but learn to hold the tension of opposites and find the truth of your Being, the Divine within, your ongoing soul lessons which will determine what “reality” you’ll experience - and no, this has nothing to do with the New Age distorted/superficial version of “you create your own reality”.

Discernment. Cleverly crafted disinformation that seems to be “exposing corruption” but is simply perpetuating the narrative in a different way for future scenarios. The Great Work is about embodying the divine force, soul individuation and becoming a conscious transducer for Divine Will. The ego personality with all its desires, whims and complaints, ennoscriptments and self-importance, conditioning and programming, projections and triggers, unconscious wounds and traumas, caught in identification and labels, chained to its lower nature drives, over-estimating itself via the illusion of “independence” and “free will” is toy and puppet to a countless forces which the human being is not aware of at all….until it gives itself up to the Divine which will be the ego’s death and the birth of the true Self, resulting in true freedom and free will for one can only be free in the Divine. Personal will becomes Divine Will. This process and work is carried out over lifetimes and lifetimes until the soul is ripe to engage in the Great Work consciously.
