Take a look at this one. You can see this phenomenon all over the country, and watch till the end to see what is actually inside the old little house.

-The narrator says they bought this junker for a tiny amount of money, like 2000 dollars.
-In order to install gas they needed one room with 10m2 of space (generally they mean a separate room and not living space but whatever)
-The key thing the guy mentioned, which is typical of Russian culture is that in the comments under their videos all of the angry suggestions they got from the audience, if they would have followed them, would have resulted in not having any home at all and abandoning the project. (This is why from time-to-time I tell people not to listen to Russians about their own country).

It is also important to note that coming to Russia with a few thousand dollars and expecting to buy a house will yield you something like this or worse, if you want to move to Russia and live somewhere nice, then talk to me about that.

Enjoy

Crawling under the house felt like opening a time capsule — mice, rot, and the quiet work of generations trying to keep things standing. Not perfect, but honest.

Sometimes living off-grid isn’t about building new — it’s about strengthening what’s still holding on.

❗️Christmas was celebrated in the Main Temple of the Russian Armed Forces. The ceremonial service was attended by Russian Defense Minister Andrey Belousov.

The liturgy was led by Bishop Siluan of Pavlovsky Posad, the vicar of the Most Holy Patriarch of Moscow and All Russia. Representatives of the central military administration bodies, military personnel of the Moscow garrison, their family members, civilian personnel of the Russian Armed Forces, as well as parishioners of the temple participated in the sacrament.

On the morning of January 7, a morning liturgy dedicated to the celebration of the Nativity of Christ will take place in the Main Temple of the Russian Armed Forces. Christmas festivities will be held on the Cathedral Square. Guests can expect New Year's performances for children, creative workshops for making crafts, an exhibition of ice figures, as well as performances by musical groups from Moscow and the Moscow region.

🇷🇺⚔️🇺🇸 Andrey Gurulev, State Duma deputy and member of the Defense Committee, made a statement about the need for an asymmetric and tough response to the seizure of the Russian tanker "Marinera" by the Americans.

The former military officer, a lieutenant general, stated that the US actions are part of the West's preparations for a major war, and called for preemptive action.

Gurulev proposed to introduce mirror measures in the Black Sea. According to him, Russia has every right to impose its own sanctions and strictly filter traffic towards Ukraine:

"There's nothing stopping us from imposing sanctions against all ships heading to Black Sea ports, Odessa, Nikolaev... Stop them, inspect them, and, in fact, even sink them if we don't like something.”

❗️In addition to a naval blockade, the deputy called for destroying the enemy's logistics and production on its territory. As a target, he named the German defense concern Rheinmetall:

"What's stopping us from striking, for example, at Rheinmetall, which supplies ammunition to Ukraine? Nothing. And then the ammunition will run out.”

For strikes on such targets in Europe, according to Gurulev, the "Oreshnik" missile systems could be used. He stressed that to cut off all channels of enemy support, only political will is needed.

Nick Fuentes' face started appearing everywhere around August of 2025, especially on YouTube and Tiktok, but also in mainstream magazines, profiles in NYT, GQ, Wired, the Atlantic. This is around the same time the decision was made to begin moving against Venezuela.

Fuentes has been dropping hints for the past few months that he would support intervention in Venezuela, and also he's said positive things about Steve Bannon (and gone after Tucker Carlson, Thomas Massie and MTG).

It's fairly obvious Fuentes "big break" into the mainstream was part of a PR strategy conceived by or with Bannon to sell the Venezuelan regime change to MAGA youth. He cut some kind of a deal with them for access in exchange for throwing his clout behind this operation. Which explains why he is bizarrely burning it all right now, he can't back out of the deal at this point.

🇷🇺🇺🇸The White House removes Russia from the equation regarding the seized tanker:

It was a vessel from Venezuela’s ghost fleet” which was considered “stateless after flying a false flag.

In short, what the United States is saying is that the tanker changed its flag and used the Russian flag as a false maneuver in an attempt to protect itself. Now, in order to avoid any kind of diplomatic friction with Russia, they are classifying the vessel as “stateless.”

In general, it is not entirely clear why the office in Sochi approved the change of flag while the ship was in transit, but in the end, it turned out that there was no need to start a nuclear war over an empty tanker.

✏️Very interesting commentary by Александр Дмитриев "Одессит из Шеньчженя":

🈁The Western Ukrainian underground gas storage facilities are not "energy" or "Ukrainian objects". They are the foundation of the American plan to capture the European gas market. A key node of the "north-south" scheme, through which the US wanted to push its LNG into Europe and finally displace Russian pipeline gas.

25 billion cubic meters is not a reference figure, it's almost the entire useful volume of Ukrainian storage facilities integrated into a system that has been honed for decades for Russian supplies. It's a complex engineering node, without which the entire American "energy crusade" turns into a set of presentations and fantasies.

LNG comes from two sides - north and south. Next on the plan is to connect the terminals, gain access to the UGS and Baumgarten, lay pipes, declare this as "diversification" and sell gas to Europeans at three times the price. But they don't want to build new pipes - it's expensive. It's much more convenient to ride the existing network and simply seize it from the previous owner.

That's the whole strategy. Crude. Direct. Predatory.

And now about the "analysts" and bloggers.

Most of them are either clinically stupid or deliberately pretending not to understand what happened. They discuss "attacks on Ukraine", "escalation" and "politics", because admitting the reality means admitting that the American gas project has failed, not some abstract "energy".

So the whining about "symbolism", "inefficiency" and "nothing has changed" begins. This is a lie. Everything has changed. Without the UGS, the "north-south" corridor is dead. Without it, American LNG remains expensive, fragmented and unable to replace Russian gas in the necessary volumes.

So either a person doesn't understand this - and then he's just a useful idiot, or he understands - and then he's an enemy. There's no third option.

❗️This is not an attack on Ukraine. This is an attack on the American scheme of capturing pipelines, markets and money. That's why there's so much hysteria, confusion and deliberate misunderstanding around it.

And yes - this is one of the most painful responses. Not loud, not media-driven, but truly adult: where it hurts, it's expensive and you can't really fix it.
