Inktober 1: Dream.
"...He then proceeded to give me an American spiderweb charm, a dream catcher, meant to ensnare nightmares, and, as I looked at it, to my utter shock, Vennen was invisible when looking through the netting, as if he simply was not there. Yet, with the net put away from my eyes, he was again in front of me, right as day.
...
...it is my opinion that, all things considered, Vennen Verr is simply not human."

Inktober 2: Spiders.
"The PETIT¹ model popular with amateur automatonists² of France and England is relatively easy to construct, does not require much raw material and does not take up much space on account of its small size. The model is capable of working and completing simple tasks, light manual labor and is equipped with a morse code "beeper" for rudimentary communication.
¹ There seems to be no one true way of decoding the abbreviation, and it is most likely that it serves no purpose other than a witty word play on the model's size.
² Several craftsmen have credited themselves as the author of the original schematic, but have all been disproven. The true author is yet to be identified."
