"You might think Oxfordshire County Council's plans are a done deal, but a lot of people are very unhappy"

Together's Alan Miller on utterly undemocratic Oxford plans in pursuit of "15 minute city" concept

It's not just Oxford

We see similar schemes popping up all over UK

"It's for your own good, we know best and we're doing it whether public like it or not" seems to be attitude

We're supporting Together members and signatories who have these issues in their local area

"We turned into tribal, angry, vengeful people"

Tim Robbins initially thought Covid response was correct - trip to London protest helped change his mind

No matter our own individual journey, it will take all of us #together to fix big issues we face

Care workers are STILL told "no jab no job"

This is a real ad shared with us this week

Lots of MPs are ignorant of this

They think "mandate" went away, therefore no problem

NOT the case!

@SteveBarclay @Helen_Whately provide CLARITY to all

Apologise, Reinstate, Compensate!
Online Safety Bill; you may want to ask Michelle Donelan MP, who reckons she'd like your questions:

Why aren't you scrapping this Bill altogether since by removing encryption you know you will make most users *less* safe?

Why do you think it appropriate to have Silicon Valley companies effectively police the speech of UK citizens online?

Why do you seek to ban private messaging in the UK?

Are you aware a majority of IT professionals surveyed *don't* think this Bill will keep kids safe?

Aren't kids arguably the safest they've ever been in history?

Why has a Bill ostensibly about protecting kids been allowed to morph into a huge general censorship Bill?

"Just as we're moving beyond Covid restrictions there's a push to bring them back.

"There's an industry of people who want to keep this in the news & being an issue"

Prof Carl Heneghan is right

Enough damage done already

We aren't doing this again Sunak
It's just a test
It's just if you're coming from China
It's just... it's just... it's just

Where have we heard all this before?

We know this is a slippery slope

What happened to "living with Covid?"

We aren't doing this again Sunak

The idea we should be wearing masks & staying at home is more of the insanity that led us to this situation: in NHS as well as the cost of lockdown crisis @alanvibe @GBNEWS

13000 beds blocked : Social Care- 40,000 care workers lost to mandate

No more impositions stand Together

Sunak here says he wants us to 'feel proud of our leaders' and ‘restore trust in politics’

Yet, right now, it feels like we’re in ANOTHER coordinated, pro-lockdown PR & ‘nudge’ offensive

It’s up to all of US to restore trust in politics #together

The way we have trust is to make sure we, the public, are actually represented

No more treating the public with contempt with nudges & fear porn - or sidelining us to push agendas no ordinary people actually want
First it's "just a test, just if you're coming from China"

Next it's "just a mask, just if you're unwell"

Chuck in a few YouGov polls

Then we hear "ministers drawing up plans" & get the media onslaught - with a new "scariant" of course!

Prof Susan Michie pops up on BBC and editorials in "friendly" papers like The Times

Looks a lot like manipulation doesn't it?

Treating public with absolute contempt Rishi Sunak - you say you want to 'restore trust?!'

"We've seen over last 2-3 years an epic failure of masks to do anything to slow spread of respiratory viruses on any level"

Govts in supposedly free societies must stop dictating to public too
