Today we are writing to @SuellaBraverman @PoliceChiefs @ukhomeoffice to ask for reassurances that no Non Crime Hate Incidents are pursued . We would also like to know what you propose to do about any NCHIs recorded by your force prior to the Code's inception, as there must be a serious risk that many of these were recorded unlawfully.
@WeAreFairCop supported by Together is ready to challenge any breach of the Guidelines and to support any individual who seeks the removal of an existing unlawfully recorded NCHI.
We would be grateful for your acknowledgment and response by 17th April 2023.

"With rising costs, no decent rail network, costs of fuel, costs of driving, cost of parking & now the LTN/CAZ, it has made Birmingham a no-go zone... I'm only about 10 miles outside, but we avoid it at all costs"

This *really* what people in the city want?
Join us TOMORROW to discuss: https://togetherdeclaration.org/brum

Discussing LTNs, CAZ, LEZ with speakers inc Austin Williams, Alan Miller, Rosie Cuckston & local residents & business owners

Councillors invited
Attempts to justify ULEZ & similar schemes on "pollution"

But there's less pollution in London now than when no cars at all

This only goes up to 2016, since when cars have got even cleaner

Poverty is much more relevant to health, so if you really care about health, why do you want to cost the worst-off ££££ Mayor of London?
A creepy invasion of privacy that no-one consented to

"Will initially focus on most serious weather-related events," it says... then what?

If recent experience is a guide, presumably relentless “nudges” and fearmongering in attempt to create "behaviour change"

Can UK only function via “emergencies” now?

ULEZ: Sadiq Khan’s claims about deaths due to pollution are misleading & wrong

Our new in-depth report, created with Climate Debate UK, shows neither the UK Health Security Agency or Committee on the Medical Effects of Air Pollutants found evidence of a link between the air pollution scientific literature & Khan's ridiculous "4,000 deaths a year" claim: https://togetherdeclaration.org/ulez

In fact Official Office for National Statistics data for TWENTY YEARS from 2001-2021 report only ONE person recorded as death due to bad air in London (and unfortunately they were chronically ill already)

It's like deja vu all over again... we seem to have a politician using "modelling" from Imperial College to "scare the pants off everyone", in attempt to force through a particular agenda

The truth is that ULEZ expansion is simply an anti-democratic tax on the worst-off and small businesses, while creating an ever more intrusive surveillance network
Wow

"Nudgers" Michie, Reicher, Drury & West disown Covid fear tactics

But didn't they also put their names to the infamous SAGE report to Govt that recommended:

"The perceived level of personal threat needs to be increased... using hard-hitting emotional messaging"

?
2015: Advertising Standards Authority rules Transport for London / "Mayor of London" claim that original ULEZ would "reduce vehicle pollution by half" was "misleading"

Do we detect a bit of a pattern?

No to ULEZ expansion

ULEZ:

"Our team checked the Office for National Statistics figure on deaths caused by pollution.

Between 2001-2021 (20 yrs), ONE death was caused by car emissions in London.

There's a vast disparity between Sadiq Khan's claims & what's suggested by ONS"

"There's a general conversation which says people are the problem, not the solution; that nature comes first & humanity a very poor second.

"Let's be bold & confront some of those broader conversations, and talk much more positively about why mobility is a benefit. It's nobody's business why we travel"
