BOOM! High Court rules there is sufficient evidence Sadiq Khan's ULEZ decision may have been unlawful - trial now expected to take place

Even leaving aside legalities, this attempted ULEZ expansion has been an anti-democratic affront

This news is very welcome - and a big blow to Khan - but on its own it changes nothing yet - we must still make voices heard, so...

"Not only is ULEZ unfair, it's not effective... it's a money-making scheme & only way it can be justified is to (try to) wrap it up in air quality, the impact (on which) is negligible"

"People think ULEZ expansion is unjust, unfair & uncalled for.

"Mayor of London, Sadiq Khan's own study said it would have a negligible effect on air in outer London, so they feel like he's lying to them."

Shaun Bailey from Saturday's NO 2 ULEZ Rally
ULEZ: With his ludicrous “4,000 deaths a year” claim exposed as a lie, Mayor of London, Sadiq Khan has desperately changed tack

He’s now using ANOTHER Imperial College paper to claim air pollution is an “invisible killer” (a phrase also lifted lock, stock and barrel from Govt Covid messaging)

It must be invisible:

ONE death in 20 years recorded from it!

"We know the WHO is unaccountable, the Director General is appointed through an opaque undemocratic process & there's too much power for pharma companies"

Well done Danny Kruger MP for spelling these issues out

BBC:

Quietly issue correction & delete their tweet of MP parroting Mayor of London, Sadiq Khan's bogus "4,000 deaths a year" ULEZ claim

"Inaccurate & misleading" they now admit

Can we now address smearing 60% of Londoners who DON'T want ULEZ with "Far Right" tag?
An important new report into medicines regulator Medicines & Healthcare products Regulatory Agency (MHRA) shows how far short this regulator falls of standards in other safety-critical sectors.

Head of MHRA June Raine proudly told a conference MHRA has morphed "from Watchdog to Enabler."

Would anyone be concerned if same statement made by Office for Nuclear Regulation, Civil Aviation Authority or Defence Safety Regulator? MHRA's practices compare very poorly with these other sectors.

Unfortunately, MHRA has failed to meet its responsibilities in multiple ways, despite huge warnings of inadequate regulation in previous Govt reports.
