"As with everything with the World Health Organization (WHO), it’s a very top down approach"

WHO was disastrous on Covid: often totally wrong, clearly political, championed extreme measures from China that were previously unthinkable and did unbelievable damage the world over

We can’t have the unelected, unaccountable WHO determining UK policies or providing censorship rules to Big Tech - both of which are threatened by IHR Amendments & Pandemic Treaty
Today we wrote to Mark Harper Department for Transport Grant Shapps #together

It's welcome central Govt will stop funding LTNs ("Low Traffic Neighbourhoods")

But so much damage already from extreme anti-car policies

ULEZ extension so undemocratic & damaging, Govt should step in
All round UK, people are standing up against attacks and taxes on our mobility

This event tomorrow in Glasgow

There a so-called “Low Emission Zone” with fines from £60 to £960 being introduced despite air quality already rated “excellent”
We must ensure decisions are made democratically not by WHO decree

V good that the WHO proposed Amendments & Treaty getting pushback - we also need to amend Public Health Act used here for lockdowns

ULEZ: “It’s unaffordable. My father's a shift worker so will have to pay twice a day.

"The ordinary citizen is already asked to sacrifice so much.

"It feels like you're being penalized for wanting to go to work... an added tax on ppl who can't afford it"

In London - in Glasgow - in Bristol - in Birmingham and all round UK - attacks on our mobility and independence that also impoverish us

Stand #together and say no

If you're an ordinary person, not even suspected of anything, the Govt is introducing law to spy on all your WhatsApp messages (through their Online 'Safety' Bill)

But if you're a Govt bureaucrat, who turned lives upside down across UK for 3 years, with the disastrous Covid response? No: those WhatsApp messages are secret, you can't possibly see them!

There's something very wrong in the UK

The wheels are falling off LTNs

96% of emails against?

Not surprising

These schemes almost always imposed top-down on an unwilling public - often in sneaky deceptive ways

Central Govt no longer funding them

Local authorities need to stop too

#LTNs
"GLASGOW, WE HAVE NO PROBLEM"

Air quality in Glasgow already rated "Excellent"

So why is Glasgow City Council today introducing “Low Emission Zone” with fines £60 to £960?

As with Mayor of London, local politicians attempting to scaremonger & shame public into new taxes?

Sadiq Khan can try to bribe a few more people to force ULEZ extension in but it won't change facts

Londoners see right through this undemocratic cash grab

They don't want it, because they know it's totally unnecessary and the damage it will do

No amount of scheming using other people's money will change that
"Family-run cafe to close after 29 years due to Bristol CAZ"

So-called 'Clean Air Zones' seem like 'solutions' to non-existent problems

Huge costs to communities

Huge sums hoovered up by local authorities
