WHAT'S IT ABOUT?
The Northern Ireland government is consulting on a new Public Health Bill which would give the authorities the power to impose quarantines and other measures and bring legislation into alignment with the World Health Organisation's notorious International Health Regulations, with talk of:

“require a person to vaccinated” (sic)
“be detained in a hospital or other suitable establishment”
“that the person abstain from working”
Govt “right to enter any premises”

The consultation involves some very detailed questions which refer to proposals outlined in a separate document. True to form, the authorities have not made it easy for members of the public to respond.

Yet it is VITAL that ordinary people make their voices heard – these new measures would give the authorities the ability to exercise even more power than they did with Covid.

So we are asking you, as a matter of urgency, to email your MLA today to express your concern if you live in Northern Ireland.

It is, after all, your MLA's job to scrutinise public health policy and examine new legislation. It's their duty to lead a full and open public debate about issues that affect peoples' lives.
