ASSISTED SUICIDE BILL: "Only 30% of people who need palliative care actually receive it, and usually only in the last days, weeks, or possibly months of life" (Amanda Hunter)

This is too big a decision to rush through without proper debate fully involving the public, to thrash out all issues

If MPs must vote on this rushed Bill, the only answer should be ‘no’

ASSISTED SUICIDE BILL: "We already, essentially, have assisted dying in the NHS, as care is being rationed and people are being fast-tracked to premature death" (Amanda Hunter)

"What is happening is managed decline"

It feels like every trick in the book has been used to railroad this Bill through with the minimum of scrutiny or debate

ASSISTED SUICIDE BILL: "Doesn't take a huge leap of imagination to picture someone being coerced into a premature death"

Crucially, the Bill does nothing to protect young people, the vulnerable, or the elderly from coercion

Announcing our first very special guest speaker for our live event on 5 June: Dr Clare Craig!

Becoming one of the UK's best known voices questioning the Covid response from early on, Dr Clare Craig BM BCh FRCPath originally studied medicine at Cambridge University moving to Oxford for her final three years of clinical training. After qualifying she practised in the NHS for 15 years specialising as a diagnostic pathologist and becoming a fellow of the Royal College of Pathologists.

Despite attempts to smear her (supported by government!) Clare has continued speaking out and remained a consistent voice of reason and calm throughout the Covid era. Clare's first book, Expired: Covid the untold story, was published in June 2023 to great acclaim, and last year she was part of the team launching the People's Vaccine Inquiry.

Super early-bird tickets go on sale tomorrow for a limited time - please see our website for details - and become a Together member to get £5 off every ticket.

OUR 5 JUNE EVENT: Lots of tickets booked already - here's our second speaker announcement!

TICKETS: -> https://togetherdeclaration.org/5june

A few days ago we made our first speaker announcement - Dr Clare Craig - and today we can make our second speaker announcement:

Harry Miller

Harry is the former Humberside police officer who gained national attention in 2019 after being investigated for retweeting a gender-critical poem. A “cohesion officer” from Humberside Police telephoned Harry and told him that, while his tweets had not broken any laws, he should not to engage in political debate on Twitter “because some people don’t like it”. Although no laws were broken, the incident was recorded as a "non-crime hate incident," prompting him to challenge the police's actions in court. In 2021 Harry won his case at the Court of Appeal against the College of Policing, with the court ruling that such recordings could have a chilling effect on free speech.
