From digital ID to surveillance to censorship & more, if we don't shape the future, others will

When people speak up, things can shift

Remember when they tried to close hundreds of rail ticket offices? Public pressure helped stop that

Cash use is actually on the rise

And in Norway, they’ve just passed a law requiring shops to accept cash

Change is possible - if people get involved

You may not "do" digital ID - but digital ID could do you

Britain is supposed to be a free country

But we actually had a “Papers Please” society in 2021-22

We don't want that again - join us & support: https://togetherdeclaration.org/DBOR

ASSISTED SUICIDE BILL: "This is about the relationship between the state and the citizen" (Alan Miller)

This Bill would change the NHS forever

Under this Bill, the NHS would shift from preserving life to ending it - a fundamental change to the relationship between citizen and state

Many who may have supported assisted suicide in principle are now extremely alarmed by this Bill

MPs must take this seriously

This government seeks to impose a ‘Britcard’ on us all to ‘protect’ us it says -

Yet we’ve seen what their ‘protection’ looks like. Assaults of lockdowns & jab passports & mandates. Two Tier Policing & now demonising the Public for everyday views

The drive to push Surveillance, CBDC, & limits & control ever further with all round Digital ID must be challenged

We need a Digital Bill of Rights

Now we're told to *ignore* medical experts when they say Assisted Suicide Bill is unsafe

The Assisted Suicide Bill is often framed as being about "personal choice"

But when treatment is rationed and care is scarce, that "choice" can become an illusion - not real autonomy

ASSISTED SUICIDE: “The concern is this Bill will harm more people than it will help.

“The big problem is coercion... it is not going to detect coercion & coercive control.

“The first families may know is when they get a phone call to say ‘could they collect the body?’”

ASSISTED SUICIDE BILL: "Only 30% of people who need palliative care actually receive it, and usually only in the last days, weeks, or possibly months of life" (Amanda Hunter)

We need better care, not assisted death

Without serious investment in palliative and social care, this Bill offers death as a cheaper substitute for real support

It’s often said that no one who’s watched a loved one in pain could oppose the Assisted Suicide Bill. It just isn’t true.

Many people have endured exactly that heartbreaking experience and still have serious, principled concerns about this Bill.

Florence Eshalomi MP describes here how she cared for her mother, who had Sickle Cell Anaemia.

She says: “As a teenager I would be by her side, when she was in excruciating pain.”

Despite this, she is against the Bill, arguing “we should be helping people to live comfortable, pain-free lives on their own terms, before we think about making it easier for them to die.”

The vote could be as soon as Friday 13 June - and will be very close.

Even if you support the principle of assisted dying/suicide, this rushed and dangerous Bill is not the way to introduce it.

This Bill has been dangerously weakened - not strengthened

Despite promises of world-leading safeguards, the Committee stage has stripped out key protections, making the Bill riskier for the vulnerable
