About Clare: Dr Clare Craig BM BCh FRCPath originally studied medicine at Cambridge University moving to Oxford for her final three years of clinical training. Great news from Northern Ireland where the draconian proposed Public Health Bill (which picked up where Covid left off) has been halted.

Well done to Melissa Ciummei and Paul Frew among many others who ensured this was challenged in different ways - from grassroots action to media to questions raised in the Assembly. We know many Together members and supporters were among the 8,000 consultation responses.

As Melissa comments: "The people have the power but you have to actually DO something to assert it" - amen!

Let’s keep a close watch to ensure nothing like these proposed measures are ever introduced anywhere in the UK.

What we need now is genuine informed consent, an end to government overreach, limits on the influence of unelected global bodies - and a proper reckoning for what happened during the Covid period.
