Instagram algorithms connect 'vast' network of pedophiles seeking child pornography, WSJ finds

Instagram’s recommendation algorithms have enabled a "vast" network of pedophiles seeking illegal underage sexual content and activity, according to a Wall Street Journal research piece.

The WSJ collaborated with researchers at Stanford and the University of Massachusetts Amherst to conduct an investigation into child pornography on Instagram.

“Pedophiles have long used the internet, but unlike the forums and file-transfer services that cater to people who have interest in illicit content, Instagram doesn’t merely host these activities. Its algorithms promote them,” the Journal reported. “Instagram connects pedophiles and guides them to content sellers via recommendation systems that excel at linking those who share niche interests.”

Researchers also found out that certain emojis function as a kind of code. For instance, pedofiles use a map emoji for "minor-attracted person," and cheese pizza stands for "child pornography."

These are no longer alarm bells. This is a full-blown emergency.

New York City sues 30 counties unwilling to take in migrants

New York City is suing 30 counties in the same state for issuing emergency executive orders preventing the city from sending illegal immigrants to their jurisdictions.

Mayor Eric Adams stated that the goal of the petition is to "put an end to xenophobic bigotry." The counties argue that illegals put their public safety at risk.

But, as every social warrior is, Mayor Adams is all pro-migrants until he has to deal with them on his own.

Not being able to bus all the migrants to a distant republican state or city, he turned to residents. Earlier this week, he announced a "private residence" plan, which could possibly see local homeowners getting compensation to put up asylum seekers.

“There are residents who are suffering right now because of economic challenges. They have spare rooms. They have locales,” the mayor said, arguing his private residence proposal could put money back in the pockets of taxpayers. What a way to get out of a rough financial situation!

He didn't clarify, though, how much the compensation would be.

Right now, places of worship get around $125 for each asylum seeker, and shelter hotels get $380 per room to house migrants.

When asked if he would offer his own Upper East Side home as part of the private residence plan, he answered:

"I am a big believer in leading from the front. If it doesn’t go against legal protocols — there are protocols in place so I can’t use the building in any way I want."

California bill would charge parents who don’t ‘affirm’ transgenderism with ‘child abuse’

An updated bill in California has introduced the inclusion of “affirming” a child’s sexual transition as a requirement for parental responsibility and child welfare. This means that failing to affirm transgenderism for a child would be considered abusive according to the proposed California State Family Code.

This bill proposes two changes to existing law. First, it states that if one parent objects to a name or gender marker change to affirm a minor’s gender identity, the court should strongly consider that affirming the minor’s gender identity is in the child’s best interest.

Second, in child custody proceedings, the court would be required to consider a parent’s affirmation of their child’s gender identity when determining the best interest of the child.

What a scary time to be living in California.

California moves to provide surrogates to gay male couples in the name of 'fertility equality'

California Bill SB 729 seeks to redefine "infertility" to be a status, as opposed to a medical condition. Changing the definition to "a person’s inability to reproduce either as an individual or with their partner without medical intervention" would classify gay men as infertile.

The bill, which passed the Senate last month, would require insurance companies to cover in-vitro fertilization procedures. With the change in definition, this would also include forcing the firms to cover surrogacy for gay males.

Trantifa: when ideology meets violence

Not every LGBT activist will be satisfied with merely organizing a drag show at a local school or canceling a celebrity for an unpopular opinion. Those who use social issues as a cover for their deep desire to demonstrate power and cause unrest resort to more drastic measures.

And when gender ideology meets violence, the trantifa movement is born.

Trantifa are a small but very loud minority who try to impose their radical views on the majority. They are the loudest advocates for "affirming" and transitioning kids. They are the loudest advocates for allowing transgender women into women's bathrooms and prisons. And they are the ones beating up anti-LGBT activists at protests.

The trantifa movement has its own communities on social media, and there is even merch: T-shirts that proudly state "trans rights ... or else" depict rifles. 

Among many was the Nashville shooter, who took the lives of six people. 

Trantifa ideas are toxic and pose a threat not only indirectly (through changing laws and social norms) but also directly through physical violence.
