🇬🇧 Finance UK publishes list of phrases that banks should avoid over fears they could be deemed offensive

There is a growing trend for companies and governments to revise their language to be more inclusive.

▪️UK Finance - a trade body for British bankers - has issued a guide on language that bans the term 'black market' and replaces it with 'illegal market', despite it being commonly used for generations.

The guide says the phrase could be seen as racial bias or discrimination. Similarly, suggest the word 'slave' be changed to 'secondary' when discussed in the sector.

The guide has banned 'black hat', a term used in the industry and cyber-security to mean an unauthorized user, with 'unethical' suggested instead.

'Sanity check' is also prohibited, as it may 'infer a level of disability'.

▪️City Hall has also recently revised its language, banning employees from using the phrase 'ladies and gentlemen'.

Civil servants working for the Labour mayor are also barred from describing migrants as 'illegal' and must now call them people with 'insecure immigration status' or 'undocumented'.

🇬🇧More than a third of Brits do not know transgender women are biologically male, poll finds

A recent UK poll has revealed that a large portion of the population misunderstands the term "transgender woman."

▪️40% of the respondents incorrectly defined the term or expressed confusion. 35% believe that a 'transgender woman' is someone who is female from birth.

▪️25-34 year olds understand the terms the least, as only 55% of people in that age group correctly identified a trans woman as someone born male.

▪️Younger people aged 18 to 24 showed a better understanding of the terms, while 62% of those aged 55 or older correctly defined 'trans woman', and around 70% understood what 'transgender woman' meant.

This is exactly what LGBT activists are trying to do. They want to confuse everyone with their terms so that they can push their agenda more easily.

How can you ban trans women from using the women's bathroom when not all people even realize trans women are biological men?

Neil deGrasse Tyson should no longer be considered a respected scientist

Tyson defends the idea of a "gender spectrum."

He did a great job of popularizing science, but has since allowed woke ideology to take over.

What a shame.

🚗 Porsche edits giant Jesus statue out of ad, apologizes for offending Christians

High-end car brand Porsche is getting backlash after they released an advertisement that edited out the Cristo Rei - the large statue of Jesus Christ that overlooks Lisbon, Portugal - in celebration of 60 years of the Porsche 911 model.

The advertisement without the Jesus statue was deleted from Porsche's YouTube channel and replaced with one with the statue intact. A twitter user pointed out the deletion on Saturday.

"This was a mistake, and we apologize for any offence caused. The original film is online now," Porsche said in a statement.

This 'mistake' took them a lot of time and editing! This war of the West against Christianity is unbelievable.

Media reports that the cocaine in the White House may have belonged to someone in the "Biden family orbit"

The New York Post writes that a bag of cocaine found in the West Wing last month could have belonged to someone in the "Biden family orbit" and that the president allegedly knows who it is.

According to the NYP, security sources say it wasn't Hunter.

Well, they can say what they want. We saw Hunter. We know Hunter. We know whose cocaine it was.

Twitter (X) was fined in relation to Trump's account

Twitter was fined $350,000 for failing to timely provide the government with information related to Donald Trump's account. The company did comply with the order, but it was three days late.

What is striking about this news is not the fine itself, but the fact that the government demanded access to Trump's account. What did they hope to find there? And how scared were they, if they also served a nondisclosure order?

🏳️‍🌈 World Bank suspends funding for Uganda over anti-gay law

Every country should have the right to decide how it wants to live, right?

No, apparently you are wrong, because the World Bank disagrees with you. Either you agree with what they think is right or you die in poverty.

▪️The World Bank has recently announced it would stop providing new loans to Uganda, after its government banned same-sex relationships.

“Uganda’s Anti-Homosexuality Act fundamentally contradicts the World Bank Group’s values,” the organization said in a statement.

“We believe our vision to eradicate poverty on a livable planet can only succeed if it includes everyone irrespective of race, gender, or sexuality. This law undermines those efforts.”

So far, about $1.7 billion of the more than $4 billion allocated to Uganda by the World Bank has been disbursed. It is now unclear whether the country will see the remainder of the sum. The money was supposed to go towards health, agriculture, roads, energy infrastructure and education.

❗️This is another example of how globalist countries and organizations can impose their "values" on others under the guise of "social and green initiatives."

I want to believe that Uganda's president is as based as he sounds.

“Uganda will develop with or without loans,” he said. “It is, therefore, unfortunate that the World Bank and other actors dare to want to coerce us into abandoning our faith, culture, principles and sovereignty, using money.”

But the truth is that he will probably have to make some concessions and meet the World Bank somewhere in the middle. Or even give in to this (kind of) blackmail.

🇺🇸 US suicides hit an all-time high last year

About 49,500 people took their own lives last year in the U.S., the highest number ever, according to new government data posted Thursday.

The CDC has not yet calculated a suicide rate for the year, but available data suggests suicides are more common in the U.S. than at any time since the dawn of World War II.

This is alarming.

Apparently, there's going to be a fight (wtf?) between Elon Musk and Mark Zuckerberg soon

Musk had challenged Zuckerberg to a cage fight in June. Zukerberg replied: “Send me location.”

Musk says the fight will be streamed both on X and Meta. He claims he spoke to the PM of Italy and Minister of Culture to arrange an epic location for the fight.

"Everything in camera frame will be ancient Rome, so nothing modern at all," Musk wrote on X.

However, Musk says he may need surgery before he can fight. In the meantime, Zuckerberg continues to train with MMA professionals.

🇬🇧🇬🇲 Gambia has become a sex paradise for British grannies

Europeans love traveling to Africa. Among other African countries, The Gambia stands out as a magnet for retired British women seeking sex services.

Gambian "bumsters"/ Gambian "bums" is a term used to describe unemployed Gambian men who provide a range of services for ageing European women. Women are willing to spend thousands of pounds on Gambian "bumsters." Some return to The Gambia time after time.

Sometimes romance isn't limited to vacations only. One of many interesting cases: Great-grandmother Margaret Sarr, 71, spent £200k life-savings on her Gambian toyboy husband who cheated on her when she moved him to the UK.

Grooming older European tourists becomes a matter of survival for many young Gambians. The average monthly salary here is £200, while hotel staff earn as little as £50. Providing sex services can increase their income to £500 or more per week.

"Age is just a number for us. If you go with a rich white lady, you feel proud and people treat you with respect. If a white woman likes me, I only ask for a little money to help us to eat and I will love her for as long as she loves me," says one of the Gambian bumsters.

This is quite a new take on colonialism.
