"I don't want to compare difficulties..." he said and then proceeded to do exactly that.

"...We have a little sense Jill and I, what it's like to lose a home… It was a Sunday and lightning struck at home on a little lake. And make a long story short, almost lost my wife, my 67 Corvette and my cat."

Good story, grandpa, but it turns out you had a kitchen fire that didn't spread anywhere else.

Georgia joins Oklahoma, Alabama and Arkansas where bans on gender reassignment for minors have either been blocked or suspended.

Senate Bill 140 was signed into law on March 23, prohibiting sex change surgeries and hormone replacement therapy for minors in the state of Georgia.

However, on August 20 a federal judge in Atlanta has put a temporary freeze on the application of that law in Georgia.

This is an ongoing battle. In the near future, we should expect more attempts to block or freeze laws that prohibit transitioning for children because it fits the current social agenda.

FEMA officials are staying at $1,000-a-night luxury hotels in Maui amid recovery efforts in Lahaina

Officials from the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) have been slammed by locals over their slow response to the devastating wildfires that have claimed at least 114 lives and left thousands of people homeless.

In addition, FEMA officials have enraged people by staying in five-star hotels (Fairmont Kea Lani, Four Seasons, and the Grand Wailea Astoria), where prices start at $1,000 a night. The beachside resorts are located about a 45-minute drive away from the fire-ravaged town of Lahaina.

At the same time, each household affected by the wildfires will receive only $700 from the government. How do you like that?

The German government has approved a law of self-determination allowing people to change their gender and name more easily. People will be able to change their gender or name as often as once a year.

The new regulation is aimed at transgender, intersex and non-binary people, according DW. The reform also prevents a person's previous gender from being revealed against their will, under the threat of a fine.

The law also made provisions for children. For children under 14, the parents submit documents to the registry office. Young people aged 14 and over can do this themselves, but only with the consent of their parents.

The law states that a family court would resolve any possible conflicts within the family. We pretty much know what that means. "Affirm" your child's new gender or say goodbye.

Germany is keeping up with the woke agenda.

Tucker Carlson predicts the collapse of NATO

Speaking at an event during his trip to 🇭🇺Hungary, Tucker Carlson emphasized how crazy it is that the Germans just took the hit, knowing full well that the US was behind the Nord Sream pipeline sabotage.

This is definitely not how allies should treat each other.

Tucker says the Nord Stream project was vital to Germany, and he's not wrong. But the current power dynamic between NATO members dictates that Germany must comply with the US.

So I'm not sure Tucker's prediction is correct. It will take a change of government in Germany for it to start asking questions and demanding equal rights.

Unfortunately, one of the best ways to learn a lesson is from your own mistakes.

Oregon residents who supported decriminalization of hard drugs three years ago got what they wanted and now regret it.

▪️In a recent poll, 56% of respondents said that they wanted to see Measure 110, which decriminalized the possession of hard drugs, repealed completely. Meanwhile, 45% said the measure should be left as is.

The measure has certainly had an impact on quality of life. 54% of respondents said it has increased homelessness, and 50% said it has decreased safety in their communities.

I guess those who think the measure should remain have simply not yet experienced the effects directly.

Back in 2020, 58% supported the measure. Now the situation has changed.

National Archives admits it has 5,400 Biden pseudonym emails from his vice presidency

▪️The National Archives and Records Administration has admitted that it is in possession of nearly 5,400 emails, electronic records and documents that potentially show President Biden using a pseudonym during his vice presidency.

NARA confirmed the existence of the trove in response to a June 2022 Freedom of Information Act request by the Southeastern Legal Foundation, a nonprofit constitutional legal group. Although NARA acknowledged their existence just days after the request, it has not provided a single email.

The request asked for emails pertaining to the accounts of Robin Ware, Robert L. Peters, and JRB Ware – pseudonyms the 80-year-old president was known to use in the White House during his time as President Obama’s vice president.

▪️Earlier this month, House Oversight Committee Chairman James Comer demanded that NARA hand over any unredacted records in which Joe Biden used a pseudonym during his vice presidency as part of his probe into the role the former vice president played in Hunter Biden’s foreign business dealings.

🇺🇸 Who is Vivek Ramaswamy?

In light of Trump's persecution, the candidacies of Ron DeSantis and Vivek Ramaswamy, who are following Trump in the polls, have become more significant. While DeSantis has been present on the political stage for some time (governing Florida being his most notable accomplishment), Ramaswamy is new to politics. It's worth taking a look at where he's come from.

▪️Vivek, 38, made quite a fortune first working for a hedge fund and then by creating a biotech company, Roivant Sciences, in 2014, which buys rights to develop drugs that were dropped by other companies. One of the company's most high-profile effort - to develop intepirdine to treat Alzheimer's disease - failed clinical trials and significantly decreased the company's value. Roivant has never been profitable, in 2023 it lost more than $1 billion.

But Vivek always managed to find investors, and now, mostly due to his share of Roivant Sciences (7%), he is one of the wealthiest presidential candidates, with a net worth estimated at close to $1 billion.

In 2022, Ramaswamy considered running in the U.S. Senate election in Ohio but dropped the idea only to announce his presidential bid in February 2023 on Tucker Carlson's show on FOX. That escalated quickly. The next day he sold part of his shares, which allowed him to pocket $24 million after taxes. He later lent $10 million of his own money to his presidential campaign.

▪️As a Republican candidate, Vivek Ramaswamy is self-proclaimed anti-establishment, anti-woke, and anti-ESG. He speaks openly against financially supporting the war in Ukraine (which he admits has lost him some donors).

❗️"BlackRock, State Street, & Vanguard represent arguably the most powerful cartel in human history: they’re the largest shareholders of nearly every major public company," Ramaswamy says, and he's right, because they even own a share of his own company.

In 2021, Ramaswamy stepped down as CEO of Roivant, and the company wasn't doing great. In summer 2022 it reached its lowest stock value since going public, and it is probably then when the establishment's dark trio - BlackRock, Vanguard and State Street - stepped in. They have acquired more than 5% of Roivant or more combined and brought in other investors working under their umbrella. Roivant has been growing since being basically saved by BlackRock.

▪️So why all of a sudden is Vivek running for president?

I don't think it is a coincidence that right after the big brother, BlackRock, decided to take Roivant Sciences under its umbrella, Vivek decided to pursue his political ambitions. The move is mutually beneficial.

Despite his open stances against the 'establishment,' Vivek can still capitalize on his growing company. The establishment (BlackRock and others), seeing no actual threat in Ramaswamy, can still appreciate him for competing with Trump and taking away the spotlight.

If Trump is barred from running, Vivek will have a hard time competing with the Democratic candidate. And if he wins, it will still be easy to negotiate with him by influencing investments in Roivant Sciences.
