US to rewrite its past national climate reports
The Trump administration is revising past editions of the National Climate Report, aiming to challenge the scientific consensus on human-caused climate change. Energy Secretary Chris Wright announced this on CNN, stating they are reviewing existing reports.
Historically critical assessments of climate risks have been removed from online access. The administration has previously dismissed the scientific community behind the sixth report and proposed the revocation of the Endangerment Finding.
