today the 123rd USOpen kicks off from LosAngeles Country Club (LACC). imo the USOpen is the 2nd best pro golf event in the world (Masters #1). aside from the history what sets the USOpen apart is the difficultly of the course setup. the USGA will spend years tricking out the course. they narrow the fairways, grow the most penal rough and work the putting surfaces until they roll like glass. par is always a good score at the USOpen ⛳️
