after battling dry air for the last couple days Gabrielle (red) is going to spin up into a hurricane but will very likely stay a fish storm. behind it (yellow) is a tropical wave that models see tracking more westerly over the next week 🌀

never cheerleading for hurricanes, but I follow the season. staying a couple/few days ahead of the herd is huge when store shelves can empty & fuel can disappear in just hours

The UK's new strategic partnership with Palantir is pretty wild — straight from gov.uk:
Palantir and the UK military will work together to "transform lethality on the battlefield", supporting the development of data and AI-powered capabilities across data analysis, intelligence, decision support and targeting systems.
They specifically mention a "kill chain" for "faster options for attacking an enemy target."
... and the deal extends beyond AI on the battlefield. It also mentions Palantir will do pro bono (free!) mentoring to British companies — because it's not about the profit. It's about the data.

have seen a lot of Charlie Kirk bickering with regards to who & how, but much less acknowledgement on how puppet masters nearly instantly put plans into motion using it to their advantage, ie a Charlie Kirk military enlistment drive, hate speech legislation etc. the crisis is definitely not going to waste, cui bono? 🤔

Gabrielle (red) is heading northeast & out to sea while a line of 3 tropical waves are churning in the Atlantic basin. as of this morning the likelihood for rapid strengthening isn’t overly concerning but models show the first of the waves nearing the east coast and possibly impacting the Carolinas by the late weekend, definitely something to pay attention to 🌀
