while Melissa is just a 50mph tropical storm at the moment it’s about to develop into something wild. there’s 2 main reasons for it, first it’s only moving at 3mph and second it’s camped out over a furnace, not just warm surface temps but the actual ocean heat (the red) shows those warm waters are extremely deep. catastrophe definitely in the cards 🌀
