A YouTuber spent an hour streaming about investing on the White House website without knowing it. The US government is now looking into how it happened.

The RealMattMoney stream appeared around midnight in the Live News section. The streamer is Matt Farley. He is from Texas and works as an oil engineer, but on weekends he gives financial advice and supports Donald Trump.

Farley jokes that if he had known where he was streaming, he would have worn a jacket instead of a T-shirt. He is also asking for a meeting with Trump.

Looks like France still can’t let it go. Score is 2–0 for Pavel.

Exactly 35 years ago, the world’s first website went live at info.cern.ch

Tim Berners-Lee launched it in 1990 to share scientific data inside CERN. The site is still online today and hosts archives about the creation of the World Wide Web, along with the earliest versions of HTML and HTTP.

You can even try the first website using the line-mode browser simulator: line-mode.cern.ch/www/hypertext/WWW/TheProject.html

A Dutchman is driving a small car from Amsterdam to Yakutia in winter. Based on his latest videos, he is now in the Trans-Baikal region.

His goal is to cover 10,000 km and reach Yakutsk. He wants to see how the car performs in extreme conditions — long distances and temperatures down to −50°C.

The blogger and mechanic prepared the Volkswagen Up himself: he rebuilt the main parts and insulated the car.

He also shares useful tips for road trips on his channel: youtube.com/@zoefonthemove?si=AhsMFVYu7robm-pR

Here’s a look at the first foldable iPhone. A blogger gathered all the leaks and made clean, high-quality renders, just like at an Apple event.

He previously leaked iOS 26 and the “Liquid Glass” design, so he’s reliable.

Year-end recap went viral on X — it’s made in the style of Squid Game. Someone added memes and the main characters of 2025 to the series.

Tung Tung Tung Sahur is there too. It looks like a fever dream.

Adidas dropped a big collab with Minecraft. The collection includes clothes, shoes, socks, and a backpack in the game’s style.

Prices start at $20 for a basic T-shirt and go up to $95 for sneakers. Some items are already sold out.

The main mistake is that the merch is made only for kids and teens.

Kanye West might still come to Russia. His wishlist includes traveling around the country and taking a ride on the Trans-Siberian Railway.

Ye has talked about his love for Russia for a long time. He says he wants to make it his “second home” and is open to doing a concert. Do we believe it?

New MacBooks will get mobile internet — you’ll be able to work without Wi-Fi.

What else is expected:

- touch OLED display;
- Dynamic Island instead of the notch;
- new M6 chip;
- refreshed design;
- better front-cam.

Time to start saving.

The RAM market crisis is getting worse: SK Hynix may leave the consumer market.

SK Hynix makes memory chips for brands like Kingston, G.Skill, and Corsair. If the company leaves, only Samsung will be able to cover the demand.

So far, this is not confirmed. Hynix is one of the top players in the RAM market, and without it, supply could drop by almost 15%.

For those who care about privacy: the founder of Signal has launched a secure AI bot called Confer.

User prompts and AI responses are protected with end-to-end encryption, at the same level as the Signal messenger.

It works without a foreign IP address. You can try it here: confer.to/chat

Gemini can read your emails, scan photos, and see your YouTube history. For now — only with your permission.

The feature is called Personal Intelligence and it’s currently in beta. The AI uses context to give better answers. For example, if you ask for a car part, it can figure out the car model from your Gmail emails or a photo in Google Photos.

The main concern is security. The AI gets access to private data, and some of it could end up with advertisers.

A snowdrift in Moscow has turned into a local landmark. A spot called “Miuskaya Snow Dune” even appeared on the map.

The snow pile showed up after heavy snowfall and is almost 4 meters high. Locals nicknamed it the city’s Everest and put up a sign.

A rave was held on the snowdrift recently. Now the snow is being cleared — sadly for zoomers, but happily for everyone else.

New MacBook Pro may be dropped on January 28. The main upgrade is the new M5 Pro and M5 Max chips.

Don’t expect a new design or an OLED screen yet — those are likely coming closer to the end of 2026.
