📊76% (79% in 2020) of surveyed who were African young people aged between 18 and 24 years from 15 countries named China as a foreign power with a positive influence on their lives, compared with 72% for the U.S. (83% in 2020)
💁♂️The result has come as a big and unpleasant surprise to a number of convinced democrats, especially those in Europe and North America, where people have long been brainwashed by the politicians and their manifestos in which China's trade and economic relationship with Africa was labeled as a "debt trap" or "neo-colonialism"
👉The survey also showed that young Africans have lost faith in their own governments, and are increasingly concerned about climate change and discrimination against women and ethnic minorities
