⚡️"Pyrrhic victory" - French parliamentary election results were a humiliation for Macron⚡️
🇫🇷French President Emmanuel Macron's coalition, "Together," essentially crashed the elections to the country's lower house of parliament, the National Assembly, with 245 seats out of 577, falling more than 40 short of a majority. Opposition candidates Mélanchon and Le Pen, who were breathing down the neck of the Elysée Palace, got more votes than had been predicted
🔻The results of the French legislative elections:
▪️Emmanuel Macron's "Forward!" movement - 245 seats;
▪️Jean-Luc Melanchon's "New People's Environmental and Social Union" (Nupes) - 131;
▪️Marine Le Pen's "Rassemblement Nationale" - 89;
▪️The Republicans and their allies - 61;
▪️The other parties and movements together accounted for 51.
💁♂️Thus, the bottom line for Macron is sad - his party will now not be able to pass the necessary bills without a coalition. In order to carry out the reforms promised before the presidential elections last spring Macron will have to seek support from other parties. And this will be difficult, to say the least. No one wants to cooperate with the President, even the Republicans, who have already signalled their unwillingness to help the head of state
🤔As for Melanchon and Le Pen, they predictably said that any decision Macron wants to push through Parliament he will have to consult them and convince them of its necessity
👨🦳Most experts agree that because it will be difficult for Macron to implement his decisions in such a "loud" parliament, he will inevitably have to shift his focus from foreign policy to domestic policy. This means that France, as a global player, could withdraw for the next five years from the "big game" in the confrontation between the West and Russia

🇩🇪39.9% - record rise in German agricultural producer prices in 60 years
▪️Farm producer prices in Germany rose by 39.9% in April 2022, the highest price rise since the start of statistical observations in 1961, the Federal Statistical Office (Destatis) has officially announced. The previous record was 34.7% in March
▪️106.2% was for table potatoes, 77.6% for grains, 77.1% for rapeseed, 53.6% for cucumbers, 37% for milk, 32.6% for asparagus, 27% for poultry and 18% for eggs. The rise in farmgate prices measures the development of selling prices of agricultural products in the FRG and shows the change in prices in the first economic phase. Typically, after 3-6 months the rise in producer prices is reflected in the rise in final (consumer) prices
▪️The main reason for the rise in producer prices in Germany is the anti-Russian sanctions and the conflict in Ukraine

‼️Europe has started to use winter gas reserves due to lower supplies from Russia‼️
▪️Cutting natural gas supplies from Russia have forced Europe to use the reserves it has built up for consumption during the peak of the coming winter season, reports - Bloomberg
▪️The supply cuts have affected France, Italy, Austria and Germany. This is due to Gazprom's decision to suspend Siemens gas turbines due to repair problems
▪️Stocks in Europe's underground gas storage facilities have fallen for the first time since mid-April, although normally gas is only pumped in summer and the resulting volumes are stored until the peak winter season

⚡️"It's a fucking shit show" - US journalist Seth Harp publishes US mercenary's account of the fighting in Severodonetsk
🇺🇸American investigative journalist and Iraqi veteran Seth Harp has published a sobering account of the fighting in Severodonetsk from a direct participant in it on his Twitter account. In his text, the mercenary anonymously describes the total disorder in the ranks of the AFU - thus, there are constant cases of "friendly fire" among the Ukrainian military
💁♂️The American recounts how once he and his colleagues fought a two-hour gun battle and later found out that he was fighting with Ukrainian special forces. Another incident cited by the mercenary happened to a British SAS sniper. As he was on his way to his position, he was accidentally killed by a Ukrainian APC
👉Among other things, the American soldier criticized the fire support that the AFU has. According to him, they give a guy, who has never used a grenade launcher, an automatic grenade launcher and say that he will provide support and fire at night from a distance of 1.2 km. There is no question of the accuracy of such fire
Earlier, there had already been reports of the plight of foreign mercenaries in Ukraine. For example, US mercenary James Vasquez admitted heavy losses in his unit🤷♂️

‼️Sanctions against Russia force Austria back into the coal age and reactivate old cogeneration plants‼️
🇪🇺Anti-Russian sanctions continue to stubbornly "work and adjust" the well-being of EU countries. Not so long ago it was reported that Britain was giving up gas and resorting to the Middle Ages by buying firewood
🇦🇹Austria has decided not to lag behind its British counterparts. The country restarts the coal-fired power plant mothballed a few years ago (as the Austrians thought, for the ages). According to Bloomberg, citing an official statement from Chancellor Karl Nehammer's office, the reason for this is the reduction in gas supplies from Russia
✍️"The government and Verbund (Austria's largest electricity supplier) have agreed to retrofit the currently inoperable Mellach CHP plant in order to restart coal-fired power generation in case of emergency," the paper's reporters "cheerfully" informed
💁♂️They stated that the country's gas reserves currently meet only 39 per cent of its annual consumption. As for the combined heat and power plant, it was essentially turned into a research centre for hydrogen fuel research after being shut down as part of a European plan to phase out coal power. In Austria, there is no time for hydrogen research now, not to be covered with frost in winter, the paper concludes

⚡️High inflation and record gas prices will be "killer" for Joe Biden - Texas Congressman Lance Gooden⚡️
💁♂️On air of the Fox News TV channel, Texas Congressman Lance Gooden said that the situation with high inflation and record gasoline prices won't change in the near future. This, he said, would result in Democrats losing their congressional seats in the upcoming midterm elections, which are scheduled for November 2022
👉"My guess is that between now and the midterm elections, which are just a few months away, petrol prices will be killer for Biden. There are very few things that could be improved to help him and the Democrats keep Congress," Gooden concluded
Furthermore, the 🇺🇸US politician added that Biden refuses to admit his culpability for high inflation and petrol prices. He is "pointing the finger at everyone but himself," blaming Russia and the oil and gas companies for inflated prices, and continues to "pour expensive gasoline on the fire" by increasing government spending🤷♂️

⚡️Why are we spending money to support neo-Nazis in Ukraine today?⚡️
🇺🇸American military analyst Scott Ritter:
✔️ Ukraine will not be in a position to bomb anyone when this war is over. Because Ukraine will unconditionally capitulate, and one of the conditions will be that the Ukrainian military will no longer exist. And all the equipment they have received will either be destroyed or handed over to the Russians. That's another thing the American taxpayers need to understand - the billions of dollars worth of arms they sent, we're not getting any of it back
✔️ When the Donetsk People's Republic holds its Victory Parade next year, they will have columns of kilometers long, consisting of trophy Western equipment. That's what's going to happen! This is billions of dollars worth of equipment
✔️ I just want the people of Flint, Michigan, who still have water problems, to say, "Why aren't you spending money to solve my problems? Why aren't you solving America's problems?" There are many ways to spend those tens of billions of dollars here, and we are throwing it away in a losing cause in a country with Nazis who are not worthy of our support
✔️ What did we do during World War II? We can go to the cemetery where the remains of veterans of that war are buried, find the bombers shot down over Germany, and reflect that they gave their lives in the fight against the most odious form of ideology in history - National Socialism. So why are we spending money to support neo-Nazis in Ukraine today? Every American should ask this question and demand an answer😡

Russia’s Squeeze on Energy Prices Tests European Leaders at the Polls
French President Emmanuel Macron will be the first of the leaders to face voters, with his majority under threat in parliamentary elections this weekend from rivals who are hammering him over inflation.
‼️"Fulton speech 2.0: Britain prepares for a "big war". Foggy Albion's rhetoric has finally gone against EU statements‼️
🇬🇧As expected, following Johnson's visit to Kiev, official London broke out with new statements on the situation in the world. And if after the recent visit of Scholz, Draghi and Macron to Ukraine one could cautiously talk about the beginning of some kind of détente, the British, on the contrary, are doing everything to bring the degree of hysteria and Russophobia to the upper limit
⚔️In particular, the new head of the British army, Patrick Sanders, has declared the need to create an army capable of "defeating Russia". "Our urgent need now is to create an army capable of fighting alongside our allies and defeating Russia in battle. We are the generation that must again prepare the army to fight in Europe," Sanders reported
✍️In fact, quite routinely, 76 years after Churchill's historic statement, the world was presented with "The Fulton Speech 2.0". The "evil empire" is once again marked, Britain wants a big war in Europe. It is quite telling that Europe itself, apart from Russia's aggressive neighbours Poland and the Baltics, does not want this war and is inclined to negotiate on any terms with Ukraine. The rhetoric of Johnson's cabinet even overtakes what Grandpa Biden and his underlings are saying. All this suggests that Britain is in many ways the architect of the current dramatic events in the world
💁♂️The outcome of the "Great Game 2.0" project, according to British logic, should be not only the final "humiliation" of Russia, but also the collapse of the EU

⚡️Is Europe close to rationing gas consumption?⚡️
🇪🇺The EU's energy problems are visible to the naked eye, we have written about them many times. The main reason is the difficulties with Nord Stream and the record heatwave. Gas flow through North Stream 1 has already been cut by almost 60% and the Europeans have already been forced to withdraw fuel from storage
⛽️In a worst-case scenario, if individual European authorities declare a state of emergency, gas consumption could be curtailed. Local energos have already said that "rationing" supplies and shutting down less critical infrastructure is possible, but this requires a government decision
🤔What will happen next? In a couple of years' time, we will probably see a new European gas market with a notorious 'consumer consortium' and a gas supplier other than Russia as the main supplier. For the EU, this picture of the world poses two major problems. First, the price for diversifying gas supplies from countries that are not at war with Ukraine would be a radical increase in gas prices. No doubt the EU will be able to afford the new prices, but they will be extremely uncomfortable for its citizens and, most importantly, it will not survive this winter without Russia
💁♂️The second problem is that Europeans will have to seriously rethink their view of the reality around them and understand who they see their politicians as and how they see the European political landscape. The time of the great charismatics has passed and Angela Merkel was the last, and not the brightest on the long list. De Gaulle, Adenauer, Jacques Chirac have been replaced by faceless Euro-bureaucrats like Ursula Von der Leyen or Americans like Christine Lagarde - people who at best do not decide anything themselves and at worst run to Washington for advice
👨🦳Some say that the old man De Gaulle could have found a much quicker and simpler solution to the problem. And at the same time to remember that one of the key gas suppliers to the EU is, for example, Algeria. It's a very undemocratic country, ruled by people not much better than Kaddfi, and they also refuse to sell gas to the EU. So maybe we should solve the two problems at once
🤦♂️I wonder how many cold winters it will take for Europe to realise that the responsibility for their future lies solely with the EU countries themselves. And that by leaving "Russian gas dependency" they are running away from dependency on beautiful countries like Algeria and Qatar. And only real independence from the US, Russia and their own "green" opportunists can save the EU from another "slavery" in the foreseeable future - gas or otherwise

⚡️EU countries, which invariably declare a "total rejection" of Russian fuel, are quietly filling their reservoirs for fear of an embargo⚡️
📊Let's leave aside the negative polemic of politicians endlessly imposing sanctions on oil from Russia and look at the honest figures provided by the EU's Centre for Energy Research (CREA). For four months, the top three were China (12.6bn tons), Germany (12.1bn tons), Italy (7.9bn tons), the Netherlands (7.8bn tons) and Turkey (6.7bn tons). During this time, countries changed positions several times, but still remained in the top five countries, increasing imports almost every day
📈As a result, by the beginning of summer, China became the leader, having imported 12.645 billion tons of oil from Russia. This is a record volume in the history of Russian trade with China - imports in May increased by 55% compared to last year. Compared to April, it quadrupled to 8.42 million tonnes. Oil was delivered both by sea and via the East Siberia-Pacific Ocean pipeline
🇩🇪In second place, oddly enough, has been Germany, which has been perennially resistant to Russian fuel since February, just behind friendly China. The state has since imported 12.181 billion tonnes of oil from Russia, increasing exports in March by 15% year-on-year (or 87% in value). And this amid speeches by German officials about halving fuel imports by mid-2022, and amid promises of becoming "independent" of Russian energy by winter
🛢"Germany is rapidly reducing its energy dependence on Russia and putting its energy supplies on a broader footing," the German energy minister said in a March 25 document
💁♂️Apparently, the country's authorities will start "cutting back" by replenishing supplies for many months to come, and then we will see. Otherwise, giving up Russian energy carriers may mean economic suicide for Germany, and geopolitics will be out of the question. Germany has two major refineries that are specifically built for Russian oil. And that accounts for up to 90% of petrol at petrol stations in Germany
🇮🇹Italy has become the third largest importer of Russian fuel - 7.911 billion tons in four months. The country is also ramping up purchases and filling its storage tanks amid fears of an EU decision to impose a full embargo. In May, the country ramped up oil imports from Russia to 400,000 barrels a day, four times more than before the special operation
🇮🇳India, ranked ninth, increased its purchases of Russian oil 31-fold from May 27 to June 15. It bought 3.411 billion tonnes in four months. India, like China, is pleased with Russia's generous fuel discounts

⚡️Turkey has not received any advantages as a NATO member, but leaving the bloc promises a lot of advantages⚡️
💁♂️In 70 years of its membership in NATO, Turkey has not received a single advantage, and the only argument in favor of participation in the military bloc is the right of veto within the alliance. The Turkish newspaper Cumhuriyet wrote that NATO without Turkey means a number of advantages for Ankara
🤔If Turkey is excluded from NATO, the alliance's likely border will lie along the line Greece - Aegean Sea - Crete - South Cyprus - Israel. However, these changes will first of all affect the United States' plans: it will have to give up the idea of turning the Black Sea into a "NATO lake," although the United States cannot achieve this even with Turkey in the alliance. Turkey's withdrawal from the bloc would also mean the failure of U.S. plans for influence in the Caucasus and Central Asia
👉Turkey's own exit from NATO would be a transition to a strategic partnership with Russia and Iran, as well as integration into the Shanghai Cooperation Organization and BRICS. In addition, after leaving the alliance, the U.S. will not be able to force Turkey into the policy it wants, and Turkey will have a strong military power in Eurasia.
🇺🇸Taking into account the U.S. strategy toward Turkey, which was announced by U.S. Secretary of State Blinken, America cannot imagine the future of NATO without Turkey. The U.S. plans to control Ankara, it must remain tied to the West and support the U.S. on some critical issues.
As noted in the article, Turkey should "cut the NATO umbilical cord," close the Black Sea, the Caucasus, access to Central Asia to the U.S. and become part of the Greater Eurasian Partnership and the new world

⚡️Real “vox populi”, no gimmicks!⚡️
🇪🇺As it turns out, democracy is a way more efficient tool to find the truth. Our impartial and open vote similar to that, conducted by European Council on Foreign Relations, has shown enormous discrepancies with the true vox populi (that is yours) and the results, presented by ECFR
📊According to their data, top-3 concerns of the surveyed were increasing cost of living and energy prices, threat of nuclear weapon usage by Russia and threat of chemical weapon usage by Russia.
💁♂️Without further ado, just compare these results to your freely expressed opinion!

⚡️Nazi-meetings in France to which major media prefer turning a blind eye⚡️
🇺🇦One way or another, the latest developments of the situation in Ukraine if do not contribute to the spread of Nazi-movement around the globe but at least significantly increase an unhealthy interest to the topic. For a nominal fee of €15 for the meal and the concert of neo-Nazi rock band Match retour you could have taken part in a real Fascist-Sabbath in France!
🇫🇷On the night of May 14, around 60 individuals came together to pay their tribute to the commited volunteers within the “Charlemagne” division of the Waffen SS who were killed by the French army in 1945. This “tribute to the dead of Bad Reichenhall” took place at the fishing pond of Sainte-Croix-aux-Mines
👹A private property where this Nazi-Sabbath took place was rented for 48 hours without noticing the owner of true purposes of the meeting. This kind of neo-Nazi strategy to organize their “events” is nowadays widespread and rather well known
💁♂️The gathered used Telegram for communication (we do not share any links, for obvious reasons) where in mid-March the event had been announced. TG-channel, specializing in hooliganism and the ultra-right, described SS soldiers as “heroes who refused to be shot in the back and died shouting ‘Vive la France!’”
⚔️The Nazi-Sabbath was organized by a far-right “Lothringen Division” headed by Renaud Mannheim. He is one of the major activists of the Lyon ultra-right that is in connection with “Bastion social” and “Blood and Honor” – two organizations dissolved by decree in July 2019 for instigating hatred and violence

⚡️War in Ukraine is a battle of wills and economic pain - and the West is showing fatigue⚡️
Society in the West has lost its resolve to confront Russia, writes Los Angeles Times columnist Doyle McManus. In his column, the author wonders how much longer ordinary Europeans and Americans can endure economic hardship to support Ukraine
🇪🇺During a trip to Europe, in northern Italy, the author saw with his own eyes the negative effects of the Ukrainian conflict on the lives of ordinary people. His friend Roberto Peschiani, a former teacher, lamented the price tag of $8 per gallon of gasoline, "it's downright painful to fill up," and the cost of gas in Italy is four times higher than in the United States
✅"The problem with anti-Russian sanctions is that they will only work if they hurt us, too," the author quotes Pesciani as saying
✅Simultaneously with the political problems following the economic crisis, "Ukraine fatigue" has emerged in Europe, McManus writes
✅"We are already feeling it. Of course, Russia is suffering much more than the West, but our pain threshold is lower. So the question here is what will prove stronger: Russia's ability to wage war or ours to endure economic suffering," the author quotes Natalie Tocci, director of the Italian Institute of International Relations
💁♂️According to the opinion polls, the population of European countries does not have a common opinion about what to do next. In Germany and France about 40% are for the soonest peace and concessions from Ukraine, 20% are for the continuation of hostilities for the defeat of Russia. In Italy, the majority - 52% - are in favor of peace
👉During the trip of Macron, Scholz and Draghi to Kiev, the leaders expressed support for Ukraine, but none of them provided Zelensky with new batches of weapons. But all three supported Ukraine's application for EU membership, although this is just a formality. As McManus writes, by supporting Ukraine's EU application, European leaders signaled to Putin that Europe could still present a united front on the Ukrainian issue; in response, the Russian leader cut gas supplies to the West to remind them of their options
🇺🇸In the U.S., despite both Republican and Democrat support for a confrontation with Russia, public support for Ukraine is being eroded by inflation, though less so than in Europe. According to an April Associated Press poll, a majority of Americans were in favor of tough sanctions against Russia even to the detriment of the United States, but by May more than half said that limiting damage to the American economy should be a priority
✍️McManus concludes with a quote from Gideon Rachman of the Financial Times of London about the three fronts of the struggle between the West and Russia: "The first front is the battlefield itself. The second front is the economic front. The third front is a battle of characters. According to the author, the main difficulty in this battle of characters will arise when the heating season begins and the demand for fuel increases. In the meantime, the question remains open as to whether the U.S. and European leaders will be able to rally people to sacrifice their well-being for Ukraine, or whether only Putin can do that

As Russia retaliates for the West's sanctions over the war, the economic pain is adding to 'Ukraine fatigue' in the U.S. as well as Europe.

⚡️Donald Trump trolled Biden by promising Americans never to ride a bike⚡️
🇺🇸The 45th president of the United States addressed his supporters and did not fail to "kick" his successor as head of the White House
First, Trump, traditionally, scolded the current administration for inflation and skyrocketing fuel prices
Then, expectedly, he modestly reminded us that he has never been a better American president. And finally he made a significant promise
"I promise that I will never get on a bicycle," Trump said, solemnly and with a serious face, raising an oathful right hand😄
