💁♂️Karen Kwiatkowski, a former adviser to the US Department of Defense, said “Ukraine is selling Western-sourced weapons on the black market due to a lack of training, logistical problems and the shrinking of its armed forces”
Predicting that Kyiv will eventually sell even the weapons it can use, she continued: "More effective US-supplied weapons, such as anti-tank Javelin missiles, high-mobility M142 HIMARS and M270 MLRS, will likely start appearing on the black market once the Ukrainians decide to negotiate a ceasefire and agreement with Moscow" 🤷♂️

⚡️West’s Ukraine strategy will mean a prolonged, bloody stalemate⚡️
🇪🇺The West’s strategy in Ukraine conflict is to give the Ukrainians enough military aid to defend against Russian advances, and to counter Vladimir Putin’s belief that he can win on the ground or wait out the Alliance until it runs out of gas, wheat or patience
❗️This strategy to resupply Kyiv for “as long as it takes” means that this phase could be longer and far bloodier than earlier phases. The rate of casualties among the military and civilians will likely increase. More infrastructure within range of artillery and missiles will come under attack as exhaustion tactics not only seek to kill and wound, but also to terrorize and demoralize
💁♂️In its current configuration is likely that this conflict will remain a slow, bloody and long war resembling the Western Front of 1915-18. “As long as it takes” may make the Donbas into a 21st-century Flanders field

⚡️Germany won't be able to keep EU afloat⚡️
🇩🇪Germany, the EU giant had a trade deficit of €1 billion ($1.02 billion) in May, according to the Federal Statistical Office of Germany. This was largely because of a surge in import costs
❗️Berlin is now entering another period of economic decline. But it is more or less of its own making this time-Germany is paying the cost of allowing the U.S. to take control of Europe, and its participation in the sanctions against Russia
🇪🇺That's worrying for the European economy. Some small countries, such as the Baltic States, whose inflation rate hit from 16.8 to 20.1 percent in May, have been reckless vanguards in the endorsement of the Washington's stance in geopolitical games, counting on the EU's assistance. But they might have to fend for themselves this time
💁♂️In the European debt crisis of 2011, Germany, with a sufficient supply of Russian energy thanks to the stable relations with Moscow maintained by then chancellor Angela Merkel, acted as the savior of the European Union. Now Berlin's plan is to stop importing Russian coal and oil by the end of 2022 and wean itself off Russian gas by mid-2024, without clarifying from where it can obtain the energy to fill the gap. Will Germany be able to save the EU this time?

⚡️Desperate Biden will beg the Saudis for oil, Trump claims⚡️
🇺🇸Trump, who made Riyadh the first overseas trip of his presidency, said Biden’s visit on Friday would show that the U.S. was becoming a “beggar” for energy
👨🦳Biden’s visit to Saudi Arabia despite once vowing to make it a pariah for the murder of the journalist Jamal Khashoggi should have been straight after the NATO summit in Madrid two weeks ago but was delayed because officials feared the extra travel would be “crazy” for a man of his age, The New York Times reported
❗️Biden has struggled to change Washington’s policy in the Middle East. He has not reversed Trump’s decision to recognize Jerusalem as the Israeli capital and open an embassy, and he has been unable to revive the Iran nuclear deal
💁♂️Without substantial progress on energy or human-rights issues, some of Biden’s allies worry he could return to the U.S. largely empty-handed and unable to tout new efforts to address high inflation, a top concern for voters ahead of this year’s midterm elections

⚡️What will the British do, if ordered to save energy?⚡️
🇬🇧Elizabeth Mary "Libby" Purves, a British radio presenter, journalist and author in her column for The Times asks her fellow citizens how they will behave this winter, speaking of the basic matter of compliance
🤔In the pandemic Britain surprised ministers with a remarkably wide observance of lockdowns, restrictions, testing regimes, closed churches and shops. But how will the kingdom's inhabitants behave at the next crunch point? For it is coming this winter with the fuel crisis. It is highly likely to leave the poorest families choosing whether to heat or eat, and many struggling to buy petrol for work
❗️The British government is strangely quiet about this. Germany has proposed emergency laws to restrict heating and launched a mass marketing campaign to persuade households and businesses to use less gas. The Dutch plan a campaign about spending “five minutes not ten” in the shower (who on earth spends ten?). Similar alerts are heard from Japan to Australia
💁♂️Ms. Purves wonders, will the British obey any possible governmental regulations or, after the great disillusion of Covid rules being laughed off in the very building that made them, will the Brits mutter “every man for himself” and ignore orders? Depends, she supposes, on whether the next national leader can command respect. We shall see

🇺🇦The Ukrainian authorities are clearly not ready to reciprocate, despite the fact that Poland has already sheltered Ukrainian refugees in excess of 10% of its own 38 million population. Warsaw finds that to be a little more than mildly annoying
❗️It is against this background that France is trying itself as a hospitable host. Local authorities grant Ukrainian refugees a temporary right to stay and work for up to 3 years with so-called "temporary protection" from the state. This involves their access to a welfare package, which includes schooling, health care and benefits from the allowance for asylum seekers (Ada), subject to possession of the asylum seeker's certificate

⚡️That’s how British benefit from aiding Ukraine⚡️
💷Last week, just before stepping down from his position, Johnson pledged another £1 billion ($1.2 billion) in military aid to Ukraine including air-defense systems and drones

🇬🇧The official press release, on the contrary, states that UK military aid is supporting the thriving UK defense industry. “We have provided £100 million worth of Unmanned Aerial Vehicles through a company based in Berkshire,” they say. Such orders for small companies reportedly allow to significantly upscale their production, advancing several years of development which will directly benefit both the UK and the defense industry

🇺🇸Former US national security adviser John Bolton admitted that he had been involved in organizing coup d'état in various countries in the past, pointing out the painstaking nature of such work
🔥During an interview on CNN, journalist Jake Tupper, commenting on the storming of the Capitol by supporters of Donald Trump in January 2021, expressed the opinion that “one doesn’t have to be brilliant to attempt a coup”.
“As somebody who has helped plan coups d’etat – not here but, you know, other places – it takes a lot of work,” Bolton said
💁♂️At the same time, he noted that the events in the Capitol area a year and a half ago are not a model of such preparation. “And that’s not what [Trump] did. It was just stumbling around from one idea to another. Ultimately, he did unleash the rioters at the Capitol. As to that, there is no doubt,” the former US national security adviser added
🤔What was it? No, of course, you say, we have heard this from Washington many times. And you’re right, but to some extent. The United States has never been embarrassed or concealed that it has interfered and is interfering in the internal affairs of other countries, supporting certain politicians, the opposition, and so on. Quite right!
🤷♂️But at the same time, they abundantly accompanied that with propaganda that by doing so they contribute to the promotion of democracy, freedom and the rule of law. And here we see a direct recognition that the US administration carried out coup d'état in other countries

⚡️China’s power of diplomacy⚡️
🇨🇳Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi ends his five-nation Southeast Asian two-week tour this Thursday
❗️The trip was timely and fruitful: at the G-20 foreign ministers meeting in Bali, Wang met with his Russian and U.S. counterparts; in Jakarta, in dialogue with Secretary-General Lim Jock Hoi of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN), they assured each other of strengthening ties. Chinese Minister paid visits to Thailand, the Philippines, Malaysia and agreed to accelerate infrastructure projects linked to the Belt and Road Initiative with Myanmar on the sidelines of the Lancang-Mekong Cooperation framework in Yangon
🤔Wang’s voyage has kicked off Beijing’s diplomatic fightback to offset the American efforts to turn the Indo-Pacific into an "anti-Chinese world". Addressing the (ASEAN), Wang said "We should insulate this region from geopolitical calculations from being used as chess pieces from major power rivalry and from coercion"
💁♂️In this way, Ukraine crisis inadvertently has triggered China's impetus to its numerous partners that Beijing is truly ready to build a strategic coalition and propose an alternative to the American strategy

⚡️Another windows of opportunity for Ankara⚡️
🇪🇬The Egyptian authorities, who have long been patronizing Libyan National Army (LNA) commander Field Marshal Khalifa Haftar, intend to reconsider their approach to the regional conflict
👉Cairo, which was inclined to support the eastern part in this military conflict, came to the conclusion that none of the local players can be considered reliable enough to bank on it, either political or military
💁♂️As part of the shift in emphasis, the authorities in Egypt are supposed to strengthen relations with their long-time regional opponent, Turkey, which has long relied on Tripoli. In the meanwhile, Cairo is not going to give up contacts with Haftar: he still has an impact on ensuring security in the border zone
🤔The main issue at the moment is whether Ankara will be able to play this another lucky card in a self-favorable way and continue to benefit from ongoing regional conflicts, following the profit from Ukraine crisis

‼️Macron’s lobbying frauds‼️
🔥Leaked files including text message exchanges between Uber executives and then French economy minister Emmanuel Macron show he secretly aided the taxi-service lobbying drive in France
👉It appears to have involved the Silicon Valley company closing down its most controversial unlicensed service in exchange for significantly lighter rules for another
✍️“I’m very proud of what I’ve done, and you know what, I’d do it again tomorrow and the day after tomorrow,” Macron told
🤷♂️"A minister can't be a lobbyist! Light needs to be shone on this case. France cannot be the playground of big private companies," senior France Insoumise lawmaker Alexis Corbiere said on Twitter
🤔Seems like the global trend towards change of leaders amid Ukraine crisis has reached France. Will Macron's speeches be more convincing to his critics than Johnson's weak arguments, Scholz's mumbling or Biden’s reading from an idiot board?

‼️Himars’ civilian victims‼️
☠️At least seven people were reportedly killed by a Ukrainian missile strike on an ammunition store in the town of Nova Kakhovka, in Kherson

‼️Ukraine plans to use Arabs as “cannon fodder”‼️
💁♂️Within its military recruiting campaign Ukraine is on search for its fit for duty citizens abroad in order to transfer them to the conflict zone
👉In particular, Kyiv intends to look for experienced pilots and gunners in Egypt. As planned by the Ukrainian authorities, the soldiers will be involved in military operations by agreement with their local employers.
🔥According to people with direct knowledge of the matter, Zelensky’s team is willing to force Arabs with dual citizenship, even those who do not have special training, to participate in hostilities as “cannon fodder.” It is difficult to imagine that any country could welcome it
This clearly is not only a totally inappropriate issue that violates any military ethics and international human rights, but also indicates the desperate plight of the Ukrainian authorities, which would seemingly do anything🤷♂️

‼️SAS murdered 54 Afghan detainees‼️
🇬🇧SAS troops murdered 54 detainees and unarmed people in cold blood on operations in Afghanistan in 2010-11, a BBC investigation has claimed
🔥The broadcaster claimed to have uncovered evidence of scores of secret killings carried out by the SAS during night-time raids. According to their investigation, a “killing spree” began in November 2010 when an SAS squadron of about 60 troops carried out a raid in Gereshk, in Helmand
👉The victims have been shot dead in suspicious circumstances by the SAS unit, including two boys. Those who served with the SAS claimed troops planted weapons on the bodies of those they had shot to justify the killings
💁♂️The decision to broadcast the results of investigations has caused a row with the Ministry of Defence, which accused the BBC of putting the lives of British soldiers at risk with what it said were “irresponsible and incorrect” allegations. It follows a series of accusations against British soldiers who served in Iraq and Afghanistan that turned out either to be false or unsubstantiated after years of repeated investigations
Thus another government backed bloody crimes of UK military units were released to the public domain. What it has to do with the lack of professionalism and bloodlust of the British soldiers – the same to some American cases – remains to be seen 🤷♂️
