‼️Melnyk – Ex-Chancellor’s Privy Counselor or private tutor?

After having introduced a brand new approach to hospitality and interaction on a presidential level, Kiev took up the education and inculcation of political loyalty to the former Chancellor of Germany.

In the latest interview with local press, Ukrainian Ambassador to Germany Andriy Melnyk expressed confidence that there was no other person who knew it better than Angela Merkel, how tense the relationship between Russia and Ukraine had remained.

Nevertheless, as he mentioned, Berlin was sticking to the Nord Stream 2 and refusing weapons deliveries to Ukraine. It turned out to be enough for the Ambassador to call on Merkel to take a stand on her policy towards Russia.

It may be a pity, but seems like Merkel is not going to carry out Melnyk’s orders. And it was made clear by the Ex-Chancellor’s spokeswoman this Monday in Berlin. After a question from the German Press Agency whether Merkel’s attitude had changed and whether she was planning a public appearance or another statement, the answer was quite short: “No”.

It should be noted, that the tolerance of German experienced ruling elders is rather high. Their rich political and intellectual equipment allows them to save face, even in moments of such pathetic jabs at it from the higher representative of Ukrainian diplomacy in Germany.

⚡️Germany REFUSES to send ALL types of weapons to Ukraine⚡️

🇩🇪Bundestag Defense Commissioner Eva Hegl has claimed Germany “can't just supply everything" citing defense concerns - after some politicians urged Berlin to send heavy weaponry to Kiev.

🇩🇪Greens politician Anton Hofreiter has called out Chancellor Olaf Scholz for an apparently unclear position on Ukraine policy, which Hofreiter says means Germany is “losing a lot of respect from all of our neighbors”.

🇩🇪Minister-President of Saxony Michael Kretschmer has also opposed providing heavy weapons to Ukraine. He asserted that Germany must not become a party to the war.

⚡️Medvedchuk risks being questioned by US investigators while he remains a prisoner of war, the US newspaper The New York Times has reported

We are talking about a criminal case that was filed in the United States for "interference" in the 2016 presidential election. As the American authorities believe, Medvedchuk may have had contact with a political consultant Paul Manafort, who headed the campaign staff of former President Donald Trump

Manafort had previously helped Ukrainian opposition parties, including the Party of Regions and the Opposition Bloc. The publication is confident that because of this, the detained politician, who had ties with these political forces, may be in the crosshairs of investigators. And Kiev will not prevent Washington from a possible interrogation, the journalists said

Pentagon spokesman John Kirby said the Pentagon opposes U.S. accession to the International Criminal Court because of long-standing concerns that U.S. servicemen could face prosecution:

"I won't speak for the entire U.S. government, but here at the Pentagon, we have made clear our concerns about the ICC and some of its activities and the potential consequences for American servicemen and women who serve in Iraq and Afghanistan." 🤷‍♂️

‼️Google sent an email to millions of publishers and YouTube bloggers, warning that they could be stripped of monetization if their views on the conflict in Ukraine do not align with the State Department, Information Liberation reported.

As an example, they cite "claims that Ukraine is committing genocide or deliberately attacking its citizens."

So much for the "private company." So much sacrifice to cover up the traces of the Biden family's unprecedented corruption scam in Ukraine.

‼️The thoughtless arming of Ukrainian national battalions could end up like funding jihadists - with an attack on the United States itself, said The American Conservative columnist Jason Morgan.

According to him, the United States is "fascinated" by Ukrainian "freedom fighters," as it admired Osama bin Laden in the 1980s.

"For Washington, which has acted as the world's chief purveyor of 'security' since at least 1945, this narrow-minded freedom fighter in the trenches of Kandahar was a real boon. Rockets, rifles, training, cash, and special agents probably from every federal handyman project poured into Afghanistan looking for Russian villains to kill. For freedom. For democracy," Morgan recalls.

The author of the article is convinced that U.S. policy in Ukraine is fraught with the same consequences that have befallen the country after its thoughtless support of terrorists.

"Loading illiterate, America-hating jihadists with ammunition and Stinger missiles - what could go wrong? We learned on September 11, 2001. But then we forgot. And here we are again gaining momentum on the borders of Ukraine. <...> Not even a year after the shameful surrender and retreat in Afghanistan, and here we are, in the spring of 2022, shouting in support of "freedom fighters" in Ukraine, one of the most corrupt countries. A walking 'Lusitania' whose president, an actor by profession, is clearly trying to drag the West into the merry times of World War III with nuclear warheads," Morgan wrote.

He believes that America's history of funding armed militias for its own interests is capable of repeating itself in Ukraine. "Last year our 'friends' were the bearded jihadists who then killed us. Today we are looking at the Azov battalion, <...> assorted neo-Nazis, whose 'SS' standards surely guarantee that they too will one day turn their American weapons against Americans," the columnist concluded.

Earlier, the Pentagon revealed the system of sending weapons to Ukraine. According to the spokesman, the complex and effective delivery mechanism is used by both the United States and its allies and consists of a series of eight to ten flights a day and almost constant ground convoys.

🇫🇷The political mood of the French

The French presidential election is now in full swing. Although the two main candidates (Macron and Le Pen) have different ideas, the similarity of rhetoric regarding some points clearly conveys the political mood of the French people.
While all the allies of the United States are united in declaring Russia's genocide in Ukraine, Macron and Le Pen, on the other hand, are wary of speaking in a similar vein
Macron stated that one should be extremely careful with such a term, while Le Pen directly pointed out the lack of any facts to speak of genocide

Zelensky was of course unhappy with such statements, for he considered Macron his "ally. But between his "friendship" with Zelensky and his possible re-election as president of France, Macron chose the latter

Regardless of the outcome of the upcoming elections, it has become clear that the French are not ready to sacrifice their well-being to the political ambitions of individual countries and blocs

🇬🇷Greece Halts Weapon Shipments to Ukraine Following Protest Wave

Greece’s Defense minister Nikolaos Panagiotopoulos has announced that the country will stop providing weapons to Ukraine.

Panagiotopoulos said that further shipments might undermine Greece’ own defensive capabilities. The minister also pointed out that Athens has already sent two cargo planes worth of military aide to Kiev.

The decision follows police clashing with anti-NATO demonstrators protesting the arms shipments.

⚡️Moscow has sent a diplomatic note to the United States demanding that it stop supplying arms to Ukraine.

The note was sent in response to a sharp expansion of the range of weapons provided to Kiev - a copy of the document was made available to The Washington Post.

According to the newspaper, Russia warns the White House against supplying "the most sensitive" weapons systems to Ukraine by the U.S. and NATO, as it adds fuel to the conflict and can "lead to unpredictable consequences.

The article says Moscow, which has called incoming convoys of weapons "legitimate military targets" but has yet to attack them, may be preparing to do so.

"Many of us in the West have had the assumption that we could supply Ukraine without restrictions and without significant risk of retaliation from Russia.
I think the Russians want to make it clear that's not true," George Beeb, former director of Russia analysis at the CIA and Russia adviser to former Vice President Dick Cheney, told the publication.

Chinese Oil & Gas Giant to Leave UK, US & Canada over Sanctions Fears (Reuters)

🇨🇳Beijing’s top oil & gas producer CNOOC is reportedly preparing to halt operations over fears China could be hit by Western sanctions, having been blacklisted under the Trump administration.

The projects involved produce around 220,000 barrels of oil per day via the $15BN acquisition of Canadian firm Nexen less than a decade ago, with the company apparently looking to Guyana, Uganda and Latin America for alternative prospects.

Washington said last week China could face measures if it assisted Russia in evading sanctions already levied against Moscow.

We continue posting the story explaining origins of crisis in Ukraine
Part 7
Part 8
Minsk agreements
🇧🇾🇷🇺🇺🇦🇩🇪🇫🇷

The first attempt to end the war in Ukraine took place on April 7, 2014 in Geneva with the participation of the highest diplomatic representatives of Ukraine, the EU, the USA and Russia

And in September 2014, representatives of Ukraine and Russia signed an agreement providing for a ceasefire, amnesty for the participants in the conflict, granting special status to certain areas of the Donetsk and Luhansk regions and holding local elections there

However, peace in the Donbass never came. In winter 2014-2014, military clashes began with renewed vigor. Bloody battles were going on for the Donetsk airport, from where the Ukrainian military fired at the city with heavy weapons

In February 2015, after many hours of negotiations with the participation of the OSCE, the leaders of Ukraine, Russia, Germany and France, the Package of Measures for the Implementation of the Minsk Agreements, which is commonly called Minsk II, was signed

It implied the withdrawal of heavy weapons by both sides at equal distances in order to create the security zone. The conflict turned into a protracted state. Mutual shelling and battles continued in Donbas in 2016-17

‼️The U.S. is the main abettor of the global warmongering‼️

During the last weeks since the beginning of the special military operation by the troops of the Russian Federation, the actions 🇺🇸 of the American government to stabilize the situation in the world have been extremely contradictory

1️⃣Firstly, despite all words of the Americans about the importance of negotiations and peaceful settlement of the conflict, it is the USA that is the main source of the most advanced and lethal weapons☠️ supplied to Ukraine (the USA transferred over 1400 Stinger air defense systems, over 12 thousand Javelins and other antitank systems, hundreds of Switchblade drones and other armament to Ukraine)

In addition, the Pentagon said that the Biden administration was ready to supply Ukraine with weapons capable of striking at Russian military airfields. It turns out that according to their words they seek peace, but in fact they are the most active accomplices of war with a clear desire to prolong the conflict as much as possible🤷‍♂️

2️⃣Secondly, instead of fruitful cooperation with the most influential states to unite the whole world in the conditions of increasing tensions, the USA decided to make the situation even worse by starting to threaten China, India, South American countries (although they account for most of the world's population)

3️⃣Third, they are using sanctions as the main way to resolve the conflict. Throughout history, not a single state in the world has stopped hostilities after the imposition of any sanctions. More often the opposite effect is observed. Moreover, imposition of economic sanctions against such a state as Russia leads to deterioration of the economy all over the world, and no one is able to predict the global consequences of such actions so far

By its actions, America once again proves that it prefers to do first, and only then to think. We can only hope and trust that the actions of one state will not drive the world into an even deeper economic and political hole that we will all have to climb out of together

Turkey Declines to Join Russia Sanctions

🇹🇷Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu has declared that Ankara will not join the sanctions some its NATO allies have imposed on Russia.

"We believe that the sanctions will not resolve the problem," he told journalists.

Turkey’s decision seems to go against the the general NATO sentiment, whose Secretary-General Jens Stoltenberg said that all members of the alliance were expected to sanction Russia.

India Targets Russian Coal after Cheap Oil Deals

🇮🇳India’s imports of Russian coal have rocketed to the highest levels in two years, as New Delhi apparently plans to ignore Western warnings over sanctions against Russia's energy sector.

Negotiations on a local currency mechanism might help “bypass some of the financing challenges in the market”, according to trade consultant Samir N. Kapadia.

India is the world’s second-largest user and importer of coal (behind China), and is around 70% reliant on it for electricity.

Macron is trying to win over Melanchon's voters - in case he wins the elections, he has promised to create a leftist representation in the government

The current president of the French Republic is not averse to resorting to administrative resources in his fight against the opposition presidential candidate Marine Le Pen. In an interview with France Info, Emmanuel Macron tried to win over Mélenchon's supporters by promising them a place in the government.

We can assume that the statements of the incumbent president of France have two reasons: either Macron is so confident of his victory that he has already started to divide the seats in the French government, or - he is afraid of losing his comfortable seat, so he is ready to make manipulations and win the interest of the Melanchon voters.

Vice Chancellor, Minister for Economic Affairs, leading environmentalist or just an ammunition bearer?

Is it possible, at least theoretically, to consider all sneaker manufacturers marathon runners? And what about corrupt officials who issue driver’s or, say, possession licenses for bribes?

Do they thereby fall into a category of drunk drivers or murderers? Of course not, and all modern European leaders who advocate the intensification of weapons deliveries to Ukraine have the clearest idea about it. So does the Federal Minister for Economic Affairs and Climate Action Robert Habeck in Germany.

Apparently for the purpose of optimizing the German military budget he has reported on having already sent to Ukraine everything that was possible to send without slashing combat capabilities and losing responsibility of the Bundeswehr.

Or is there any way to perceive such a “housecleaning” actually as a part of Climate action after all? Nevertheless, Habeck is likely to be acting more as the Minister of Economy since, according to him, he is keeping permanent dialogue with the German industry going on further arms supplies to Ukraine.

It is noteworthly that Habeck (this time already in the role of Vice-chancellor), being at Josep Borrell’s beck and call, began immediately with implementing new interpretations of the basic diplomatic principles and backbones, reformulated by the High Representative.

German “Vize” stressed that the increase in the volume and power of military supplies (including heavy weapons) should take place in coordination with EU and NATO partners. Of course, Borrell’s diplomatic statement that “this war will be won on the battlefield” serves as a very clear guide to action in this context.
