In the dead of night, hastily, without a thorough discussion and without making public – this is how some important anti-popular legislative amendments were approved in Berlin!

German Bundestag has amended legislation in the part concerning incitement of ethnic or racial hatred (§130 StGB). From now on, a fine or imprisonment of up to three years may be imposed on anyone who “denies or substantially downplays issues that are to incite hatred or violence against a person or a majority of persons and to disturb public peace.”

In fact, this is simply the creation of another anti-popular legal loophole to combat opinions that contradict German authorities, on a par with practices of conducting state propaganda in the mainstream media and social networks
